“Leon, please hear me out !”

And he was gone. You had no time to even slip a word to begin a conversation, your master man had a match. An exhibition one, against Raihan. The kind of match he could not possibly resist. Before the door the man of your heart has shut down, you sighed loudly. What were you suppose to do now ? Wait, one more time ?

Maybe you were tired of waiting. Maybe you were lost, both in thoughts and in heart.

A new sigh escaped from your lips. As you clenched your fists, your heartbeat began to be painful.

“No Leon... not this time !” you mumbled as you opened the door to pursue him. Damn, the taxi took him already ! How much time did you have left before the match ? Not much, that was for sure. Rotom phone indicated that no taxi was available right now, of course. “Goddammit...”

Not a moment left to waste.

Rain soaked rapidly your skin to the bone as you ran like a little devil. For once, you could thank you own stamina, trained with your pokémon team. No matter the rain, no matter the heat or fear... you had to find your man, you had to talk to him before his match. Of course the purpose wasn’t to distract him before the exhibition... you simply had to.

Definitely soaked to the bone and shivering like Hell, you arrived short of breath before the stadium where the match was suppose to take place. People around you looked at yourself as if you were some kind of a zombie, or some kind of mad woman. As hard as you could, you tried not to pay too much attention ; you had to find a way to talk to Leon.

Only, there was a issue...

Leon was the Master. Not anyone could talk to him before a match. Even if you were his girl, his muse like he said to you sometimes, your relationship happened to be some kind of a secret... unfortunately. You had to find a way no matter what.

For a dozen minutes, you argued with a security man. “Please, I just need a few minutes that’s all !” you tried once more, your heart beginning to be more and more painful by the minute. The man before you barely answered to you, armed crossed against his chest. Your hope to speak to your man grew lower and lower when some kind of madness hit you.

Suddenly.

“LEON I’M HERE !!!” you yelled as loud as you could in the middle of the crowd, provoking a heavy silence. Everyone looked at you, but you couldn’t care less. “LEON I JUST NEED A MINUTE WITH YOU !!”

Everyone started to whisper about you as you were losing hope once more. For a second, you were ready to give up, tears brimming in your eyes when...

A door suddenly opened.

Very serious at first, he smiled tenderly while reaching your hand. “She’s with me” he said simply, saving you from this crowd full of jealousy and anger. Silence wrapped the both of you during a short while, as the Master accompanied you to an empty room. The very room he used to prepare himself before the match ahead. “I’m sorry, I know you didn’t want anyone to find out about us...” you tried before he silenced you with a single finger against your lips. “Why were you about to cry, love ?”

This question surprised you entirely. You bit your lip, uneasy. All that time you were determined to talk to him, to confess something very special to him but now that you could... you were kept silenced by your own fears. Leon smiled amused. He caressed you cheek softly, trying to comfort you in any way he could. “Did I make you cry ?” he asked with a soft tone, taking time for you to open up. “Wh... what ?! No ! Of course not !” Once more, your heart started to beat fast and loud. Leon smiled once more, giving you courage. You had to be brave on this one...

“I had to talk to you but you gave me no time earlier... I called out for you, but...” you began with a single breath. The Master looked at you tenderly, giving you all the strength you needed right now. “I wanted to... wish you a happy father’s day !”

There, you said it. You held Leon’s hands tight, trying to catching his beautiful eyes. For a second, your man frowned as he tried to understand what you were talking about. “Erm... thanks but why...” he mumbled before opening two big eyes wide opened. “Oh.” With that reaction, you swallowed hardly. “Yeah...” you answered. “Oh.” You let go of his hands, ready to go. You had some difficulties to breathe, and even more to think. “I’m... not gonna disturb you anymore...” you told absentmindedly.

Before the door, ready to go, Leon burst into laughter before rising you on the air. “Disturbing me ? You silly !!” he echoed, his eyes shining like a million stars. “You really thought I would let you go now ? Oh Love, you tell me that you’re pregnant, that we’re gonna have a baby and you don’t want to disturb me ?!” His joy made you almost burst into tears. Leon covered your face with soft kisses, holding you tight against his chest. He wasn’t ready to let you go. Not ever. “I love you with all that I am” he whispered at your ear, before kneeling and talking to your belly : “and I love you too, little master...”

With a soft kiss on the skin of your belly, you knew it was the most beautiful day of your life. For the both of you. Needless to say, Leon has a million reasons to prevail against Raihan. And he did... for you, for the baby, for your family to come.
