Hey guys! The public update is now live! 🥳 The update brings 27K new words (excluding codes) into the demo, bringing the overall word count to 384K words!

Some new stuff to expect from the update (without spoilers 🤭):

Some changes and options additions in Ash's Hangout.

A whole new section and new scenes added at the end of Ash's Hangout.

A (promised) brunch with Rin 😉

Just a word of warning, I did change one or two variables in the previous iteration of Chapter 7, so if you're using an old save file, there's a small chance it might give some error. But hopefully it doesn't. Of course, the safer way would be to play with a new, clean save (either playing from the beginning or use the quickstart to get to Chapter 6 immediately).

Anyway, I'll start answering spoiler asks regarding the update in a day or two 😉 And when I answer them, I'll make sure to tag them with the #chapter 7 spoiler tag.

The tiny doodle on AK's website (that I showed a screenshot of here) aside, I haven't drawn or posted anything yet!

I kinda felt to try to draw Ash from @vendetta-if again. The first time I drew male Ash was July 2022 and again in August 2022, I posted both drawings October 2023.

I feel (hope) I improved by now and that's why I chose Ash again :D

I like them as a character a lot. But I'm not sure if I would say they're my fav RO, because I honestly like all of them so far! I do kinda wanna draw them all at some point as well as my MC lol

Well, enough talk, here's my first Ash for this year🥳

Hey guys, it's jsc, the author of Vendetta. I'm making this blog to backup all of the stuff I've posted over on the vendetta-if blog because I can't access my main account. Until I can access my account again, this will be the blog I'll use to interact with all of you and post updates. And in the worst case scenario, this will become the main blog.

So, please, follow this blog as I will be posting updates and answering asks like usual here. Also, for those who want to share their fanarts and other fanworks, please tag this blog too so I can see it. I'll also start reblogging some posts and asks from the Vendetta blog here in hopes of preserving them as much as I can. So, be prepared for a little blast from the past as we walk down the nostalgia road, I suppose.

I'm really sad because just earlier today, I checked my followers count and saw that we were 30 followers away from reaching 4K Followers in the main Vendetta blog, and I was thinking about what to do to celebrate it. Plus, there are also so many awesome fanarts and asks that I don't want to just be gone, which is why I'm making this blog to reblog all of them.

For those who are new and wondering what my story is all about, please check out the intro post I've reblogged. I might need to make another intro post in the future if I never get access back to my account, but for now, I hope it'll suffice.

You hear a finger snap and before you can even start to comprehend what's going on, the bottle of whiskey in Joshua's hand combusts in flame. You're frozen and your mouth is agape as you see the bathrobe catches aflame and soon the fire starts spreading all over his body in unnatural swiftness and ferocity. The terrible smell of burning flesh instantly hits your nose. It reminds you of that day when Ash burned Ronald, but a hundred times worse. Your stomach churns and your heartbeat is hammering so loudly in your ears that it's partially drowning the poor man's screams of agony. Ash touches your shoulder gently and you jolt in surprise, body unfurling and jumping back from Ash as you watch him warily, your blue eyes stinging. You reach up your face to wipe your eyes from the welling tears and realize that your mask of shadows has disappeared. 

"What the hell, Ash?!" you can't help but yell at him. "Why did you do that?"

Ash tries to approach you calmly, hands raised in what you assume is an attempt to comfort you, his emerald eyes are filled with worry. 

"Gabe… I did it for you; I know you don't have the heart to kill anybody. So, I did it for you, for your own good—"

You shake your head vigorously. "Don't. Don't say that," you cut him off firmly. "That man just answered all of our questions without a fuss. Hell, he has a family he was about to go back to. How could you do that to him?"

"Please Gabe… Everything I do has always been for you and the good of the family…" he's basically pleading now and you can taste the desperation in his tone.

You shake your head. "No, Ash… What you did is incredibly messed up…" Your voice is soft and trembling slightly. "There's no justification for killing that man in the first place, much less for killing him in such a… gruesome way. It's terrible…"  ©

Here's my MC with his pet cat, Pixie! His name is Zhenya 'Zhen' Bogdanov. Though his enemies rather know him as 'Psikh Bogdanov'.

Because of his soft looks and polite demeanour Zhenya is often misunderstood to be a pushover by people who aren't very familiar with him. However for those who do, they know that he is anything but one. He's a softie around his family members and friends, but Zhenya's reputation as a ruthless individual sometimes far precedes his own family's. The people in the underworld often refer to him as a 'Psikh' (which basically means a madman or asshole in Russian) all because of his utter callousness when dealing with people and the extent of his ruthlessness. It is an unspoken rule in the underworld not to provoke him in case the 'nuclear bomb' goes off again. He looks up to his Grandfather and Uncle a lot (they're practically his role models) and he hopes to become the head of the Morozov family and bring it to new heights, although that might take a while considering he's busy with a rat (cough the killer cough) on the run. Plus despite his high ambitions Zhenya has a very bad habit of procrastinating things all the time if he doesn't find them interesting and running away frequently to hide in a cat cafe (psh the benefits of being a pampered kid i tell ya). Because of his strange obsession with cats and just felines in general, one can often see him cuddling on the couch with a shadow tiger (imagine instead of shadow hellhounds we have shadow tigers :D). Also he loves his pet ragdoll, Pixie with his whole being so to be given the chance to hold her should be considered an honour. The only ones who have been given this honour are Ash, Luka, and Rin.

Zhenya also likes reading books (though most of them are either horrifying fairy tales from the grimm brothers and the likes or manuals related to medieval torture methods, don't question him about it he'll simply call them necessary for scientific reasons, whatever they mean), trying out new kinda of foods (his favourites are the spicy and sour kind) and gatdening to a certain extent. Looking at his hobbies no one would believe that he is the heir of one of the biggest families in Elysium City (and that's exactly what he wants you to think). He's the living embodiment of 'looks like a cinnamon roll but could kill you'.
