Soulmate Route – Public Update (08.07.26)
Hi!
The public update for the soulmate route is now up (29K words)
To access it, you need to use SKIP to CH4, because it's a bit further down the narrative than your last mafia job in Chapter 4. But you don't need any extra context to play it, besides what already happened in the soulmate branch.
There are no new content warnings beyond what's already listed, but the update includes non-skippable explicit sexual content. (I'll work on fade-to-black scenes at some point, but it's not that easy in this particular case...)

Hi Lovelies,
Can you believe it, Chapter Seven after a full year. I am just so grateful! Hopefully, Chapter Seven has a reasonable amount of content, and I can continue adding more and more as the story progresses! I know a few people will have questions about Chapter Eight, and I do have a complete outline written out, and I need to transform that into actual pages for writing. I also mentioned and am currently in the process of writing NBD, which has been so long since I've picked that story up, but I feel in a relatively good place to start again with that. My thoughts on Chapter Seven are at the bottom of the page.
I also have a full list of what has been added, changed, updated, etc.

Chapter Two is now Available!

I've been editing and playtesting at godless hours so I'm pretty sure there are glaring mistakes my sleep deprived brain has completely ignored but I fixed a loooot of bugs and Chapter Two is now up and ready for you to read.
The 44k that "will probably increase" have turned into 61k. I added flavour text concerning MC's appearance, I diversified the tone of Mattea's scenes because I wanted her behaviour to be very different depending on whether your MC's a Brat or a Good Girl, and I also extended and added a few dialogue choices and reactions on the second part of the demo.
I'm not completely satisfied with this chapter, especially with Mattea's scenes but I'm not sure if it's the scenes themselves, or the fact that I've read them all one after the other again and again while editing, and now they're like all mixed in my brain. When I go over them again in a couple weeks with a fresher mind I might change stuff. Do feel free to give me feedback.
Even though a lot of the new content is shared paragraphs with flavour text 61k is still a lot more than I was going for. There goes my 'I don't want chapters to be much longer than 40k' speech.
I'll try to keep an eye on bug reports in case there's issues but otherwise I'll probably be a little MIA for a few days. Or weeks. World Cup has started.

PS. Still haven't completed the WIP scene for Claire's hookup in chapter one. Sorry! I've really been busy.
