#i expect

- transparent watercolours… that one uckfass nekobolo song that’s in project diva for sone reason (I’m waiting to play the song on Diva, I’m pretty sure I’ll love it but rn I just find it funny that sasanomaly is on project diva with I song I don’t know. I’m putting it here cuz I think it has sunflowers in the diva MV). Honestly lots of old lesser known Diva songs. But I like these ones from what I know so far.

- OH OH unrelated cuz this is returnibg butFFDFFFSGHBFGH PARADES?!?!?!? < miku fan who forget about parades, the extremely interesting Miku live performance. Yes I was thinking of a rotation with that and glow but that’s too many ballads right. Glow would really fit here too tho…..

- yes I was thinking about kaisei too but it’s played to recently for my predictions, though ig they might want to remake it asap? If so throw in YY too (ai no uta and suki na koto ig it’s not your time? Cuz you don’t fit the theme? Even tho ai no uta deserves it more the kaisei since it’s been longer since it’s played I think? Idk)

- I notice that I’ve been filling this setlist mostly with songs I want to return instead of new stuff, I think those songs above, especially the more recent ones, should have been a priority. Especially Yakusoku. And Shoujo Rei. I love Lesbians. And Synthesize you. She’s lesbian, right?

- OH YEAH while I’m on about new miku songs I think we’re in line to get a surprise as the intro. My head is telling me that theyre doing a fun alternation thing with the songs on the album that youd put forward as the intro right. I think it was my fault in 2022 for not actually thinking theyd do NEXT NEST for some reason, but Buriki no Dance in 2024 was completely out of line. 2022… 2024… you see how I TGOUGHT this year would join that trend? The thing is Doping dance is SUCH a good song to open the concert. If they don’t open with it I’ll eat uh I’ll eat cheese (I hate cheese)

- WHILE IM ON THAT I HAVE TO MENTION it’s the 10 year anniversary of the extended countdown and intro that they gave to 39 Music! when it debuted. I would LOVE to see that again, it’s like the best miku countdown ever. It’s unlikely and I want many other songs instead of it ig, but it would be great as the opener again or even better, the encore intro. That’d be so dang cool. And yes I will make a post about this.

- okay yeah maybe that’s enough notes. Once again I took most of my inspiration from PixiePi’s videos on TikTok (which I don’t even have) and the Mirai setlist last year. And hope. It’s the sunflower year. There’s gotta be hope. I really wanted Hidamari no Setsuna (between kotaete and el tangoista) too, but damn you el tangoista amazing kailuka set

- like last year’s, this post also includes songs I don’t know very well, if at all. You will be able to tell which songs they are too lol. I may or may not have clumped them together in a location rotation . . .

- I include most of my hopes for the visuals of the album songs (especially now considering the LED screen backgrounds) in THIS POST, so check that out because I cbb repeating them here lol 💖 as for all the other songs, my hopes for the visuals and potential new backgrounds are below as per usual

- but also because I’ve really got to hurry up writing this post I’m only doing it for the songs that play throughout every setlist, as you will see

- whenever I used to do predictions I’d guess which models would be performing which songs too, but after 24 and esp 25 I have no idea how any of that works anymore. I want funky visuals like from Pokemiku in most of the new songs, but I like the old models best. 25 showed that they can coexist, with the old ones appearing onstage whereas the new ones are in the focused camera parts (during genten and Maga Maga specifically), though I hope this doesn’t mean that the new performances with the old models are going to be replaced with new models used in the focus singer sections. I’m not sure how it works still, maube I’m just making assumptions, I’ll have to get a better look. Since I’d like a new outfit from Luka, I hope and expect for a new model in hello new world (and maybe a hypothetical new kagamine duet too) but that’s it. I think Mirai 26 would look best using the old model (the same lustrous uses I’m pretty sure) rather then the new (who can wear outfits, as demonstrated by idol senshi and cyan blue), and every other case of outfits I want this time are outfits that are already in project diva.

- for the songs that I say are location rotations I haven’t chosen or specified the locations, but I did try my best to put songs I think go together in the same setlist :) even if I don’t know three of them :)

- intro - okay. So. This year we’ll have an intro similar to 2021’s slower one. Trust me. I hate myself for caring so much about the band member and concert intros but never remembering the recent ones. I simply must go check. It’s terrible of me. I hope that guy from 2024 brings his water guns back tho.

- doping dance - NO I ACTUALLY HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT THIS ONE THOUGHmiku with sanpaku eyes MIKU WITH SANPAKU EYES BUT NOT ALL THE TIME RIGHT ONLY DURING THE HIGH NOTES STARTING AT THE CHORUS IG I’ll have to make another post about this yeaahhh. BECAUSE OF THIS DETAIL I AM HOPING AND EXPECTING THEY USE THE NEW MODEL FOR DOPING DANCE okay

- 39 music/lustrous (day and night) (no creation myth unfortunately because it was there lots last year)

- deep sea lily AND ITS GOING TO BE EVERYWHERE make it look like the MV. Like the Iyowa song in voltage right. Paper background with moving doodles and colours and water and bubbles and fish :)

- hello new world - starting with luka a second year in a row! Also my second time predicting rightfully or wrongly that we’ll start with luka and go into Meiko

(If there’s a returning Meiko solo, it’s here - ramune blue longing which fits the theme most, and the return of my beloved Hellfire?)

- bad shark (I’d put the less exciting one first usually but Meiko is quite bad and evil in Salome and so is that shark Kagamine Rin. My evil slay queens had to go together)

- shinitakunai (putting him between two bangers will help lift him up too I think) (tho I suppose this’d also go well next to hello new world hmmm) (splitting up the kagamines would be fun and make a new duet with them more unexpected I feel) (too late now tho I’m rushing this haha)

- some kagamine duet, possibly new

- blue fire (at the end, just like genten! Since this is basically kaito’s equivalent of genten)

- band member intro (having kaito next to the band member intro demonstrates my hopes for It’s my own music and the vocaloids themselves introducing the musicians again 🥹)

- location rotation between strangers, animal fortune telling and yellow (PRETTY STRANGE YES I AM AWARE) (I’m going by the miku expo logic of miku songs in outfits are location rotations, I picked these because they all havent played at least at mirai in ages) (also yeah there’s lots of examples of the song after the band member intro being switched around)

- Gehenna (this feels like a pretty weird place to put what will be such an important performance, especially after two pretty positive songs in most locations)

- spherical ocean/first note (day and night)

- kotaete - I’ve never actually elaborated on my hopes for the visuals for this one, or even what I think about it, dw I do indeed love it hehehe. I’ll have to make another post once again. But in order to get everything out before the concert, like my yapping about sanpaku miku in doping dance, I’ll say here that I’d really like miku to sing at the bottom with the rest running around and interacting with eachother on an (invisible?) platform, until they all come down and free and sing with her) (I don’t want them to be present at the start either I hope they either fade in or come in and out from the sides of the stage)

- Time Machine EVERYWHERE once again because HOW COULD IT NOT BE. (THE MOST fitting song for the theme imo, whether returning or not!) (I’m just thinking now due to my lack of new miku picks since I want lots of returning stuff… this could also get a really random but deserved hahimete no koi ga owaru toki treatment… the dance can stay the same I just want the module… and like I said this song is prob the most fitting song to me because if it’s project diva MV I think it’s deserved… but also if you take away my adorable mikupa model I want the diva module as payment… honestly the saje thing could hapoened to fire flower and it’d make me okay with too many lensets. Avenge my mikupa modeks dear project diva modules…) (as for visuals it’d be so peak if they kept her at the train station from the diva MV for most of it PUT A TRAIN IN FRONT OF HER THAT SHOWS THE SAME PERSPECTIVE OF HER RUNNING AND CRYING FROM THE DIVA MV) (like without her actually moving ig but she’s still running she’s just not getting anywhere, ig you could show the movement if the train from the inside of it with the sway if the hanging handles) (idk bro do you see the vision) (maybe the train will then ride away and show miku on a treadmill since she wasn’t running anywhere < joke) (ofc I hadn’t planned to add this much to Time Machine, now it doesn’t fit with the rest if the setlist) (whatvi want most is the return if the old model snd maybe miku on the station from diva. Idk how tho)

- sheep song/earth day/today the future (YEAHHHH. THESE ARE THE ONES I DONT JNOW BAYBEEE) (I think theure still all equal to each other for that reason tho :) harryp song next to harryp song too whoops. But I think it still works) (they’re like three underrated forgotten bangers)

- Sora ni menjite - though id like to end the concert with sora ni menjite, especially since miku in her sekiranun graffiti shiny outfit can’t really do that, unless they make her transform back into it at the start of the final chorus or something,,, I really like this and deichuu no saku beibg next to eachother. Their like a story, they have similar messages with the same sorts of themes <3
