I saw this on the fantasy reblog I did so let’s see

Mars -> Most obvious one. Ares and Mars differ a bit in mythologies where Mars is respected yet Ares isn’t. But this had to do with some sort of political stuff I believe. But yeah he’s Ares (Or someone else, keep reading hehe)

Kevin Mask -> Without a question, Athena. I know I shouldn’t be making Kevin Mask Athena because REASONS but he’s the one that is most like her.

Hydrazoa -> Obviously Poseidon! Honestly I can’t believe that they didn’t make Hydrazoa named after Neptune or Poseidon. It would have been perfect. I know the story about Neptune king and Neptune man but that outfit makes 0 sense if he’s gonna go from Quarrel man to Neptune man

Jeager -> I think Jeager is very military in approach but I would definitely not give him a war god. Maybe Demeter or a spring time god? Chronos would work! He’s the personification of time (NOT the same as Zeus’s father- that is Cronus)

Roadrage -> Tricky business over here. He’s basically a robot right? So if we’re going with metals; Hades would be a contender. Roadrage as a death god? Maybe I should give Mars that and for Roadrage I give Ares. Or Hephaestus…but honestly Ares really suits him

Mantaro -> Most probably a Demi god like Hercules. I guess the Zeus type of figure would go to Kinnikuman in that case. Robin Mask acts more like the big boss than he does tho, at least as far as I’ve read

Terry’s match with Mars:

Mars (to Jaeger): I don’t need your help, you schnitzel-brained bookworm!

They both freeze.

Mars: Okay, that was mean, I’m sorry.

Mars is literally in the ring fighting Terry but he stops to apologize for hurting his boyfriend’s teammate’s feelings.

Me, laughing: I mean, could they be any gayer??

~Later; Mantaro’s fight against Hydrazoa, Terry is explaining why it’s important for Hydrazoa to keep his organs hidden

So the idea is that Roadrage is one of the only mechanical, robot characters that I know of! Apart from Dialbolic- who may or may not get a part in the au even tho I don’t know much about the guy haha

So roadrage has this interesting personality- cocky, smart, witty but also very reckless and impulsive. I think that he’d be some sort of leader of a tech world- a tech crime gang? Cause I don’t think I can put him into a too heroic scene. His partner in crime would be hydrazoa but I’m just now imagining hydra using his abilities to foil all his plans 👀

I really liked Generation Ex and honestly I would whole heartedly write fics but their psychology is much more interesting than them wrestling to me because- HOW ARE/WERE THEY A TEAM? As far as I remember they were more of I fight alone kind of thing but still. Macmad, are you mad?

Yes they were a bit crazy (a lot) sometimes and they would have probably fit in more with the Devil Choujin at some point (apart from Jade cause he is the token good teammate and the only one keeping that team in check) but lemme just say

2/4 for them are psychologically damaged and I’m honestly serious about this. And yes I know they were probably never gonna go too into detail with it but I am so, happy reading heh.

I have no idea how they did not showcase more of Scars trauma from basically having the base go weee-splat!

I know he is strong mentally and he just wanted revenge afterwards but you can’t tell me that being the ONLY survivor there, wouldn’t have affected him.

Jade’s is more there because he has meltdowns whenever Scar tries to psychologically manipulate him- but I digress.

The fact that Scarface actually manages to keep up the act for so long is telling of his intelligence from the very beginning, even if he played dumb at the start. I never got all the feigns and almost falling in Terry’s match but in the manga it is better.

Scar loves picking fights but if he actually tried, he will get along with anybody. Cause what do you mean he was in enemy territory, in an enemy team and he still managed to mostly play nice? It was only when in the ring and Jade started lecturing him that he began to go off on him with insults and he did apologise. Something which I don’t think he does again haha.

Anyways enough about those two. Clioneman and Dead Signal were even worse in my opinion. I’m not used to calling them by their Japanese names I swear. Mr. Waterman is a show off lol and a bit bonkers and Dead Signal is manipulating the crowd and that dog?? You’re worse than the actual dmp in your team. What are you doing! Leave the animals alone. I have a feeling that him and Scarface got along because he plays a rule obeying robot and then- nope.
