First day back into employment after a week of R&R and looking like this at 6:30am of a morning is crazy to try comprehend aha! Day 44 of the hardcore trainer and it was quads today. I haven't posted about my training all weekend as I was away for my birthday. I did try to post about yesterday's chest and shoulder workout but it failed to load for some reason and I couldn't be bothered to write it all again. I trained legs today and the session was this: - leg extension 6 sets 20, 15, 10, 10, 15, 20 superset with - sissy squats 6 sets 20, 15, 10, 10, 15, 20 - barbell back squats 3 sets 20, 15, 10 superset with - sissy squats 3 sets 20, 15, 10 - barbell front squats 3 sets 10, 15, 20 superset with - sissy squats 10, 15, 20 - walking lunges 3 sets to failure It was a tough session but I felt quite strong at the start. I managed to do the whole stack on leg extensions for the sets of ten which I am happy about. I had to do sissy squats standing on an angled plate with dumbells as my gym doesn't have a back squat machine. They were pretty effective though especially as I kept my weight forwards over my quads. The squats were tough though as my legs were shot from the first superset. I wanted to go heavy but could only manage 80kg for a set of 10. I finished off with lunges as I find they are really good at finishing the legs off it's a great way to get a bit of conditioning in as well. I downloaded the new @hustlestandard album this morning so listened to that throughout my session. It's a good album and sends some very powerful messages about depression and the military.
