Sapnap and George skidded across the floors as they raced to the kitchen, Sapnap collided with George as he reached out to open the kitchen cabinet. Sapnap gave an annoyed huff as his eyes gazed around the empty cabinet, George peered from behind the shorter male. Both groaned in annoyance as they slammed the cabinet shut.

George and Sapnap went to the living room and flopped down the couch, As if it was planned Dream came back home. The blond male closed the door as he held multiple bags filled with edible items, The two boys who were once on the couch immediately jumped and snatched a few bags from the taller male.

"Guy's be careful I just bought those!" Dream remarked as he quickly went away from the two other boys, Both brunettes let out a sound of victory as they found their wanted snacks.

"Hey Dream is it crowded out?" George said as he munched on raisin cookies, "Not really." Dream nonchalantly replied as he carefully placed the items he bought in the cabinets, As the three boys chatted happily. They suddenly heard loud alarms blaring, Sapnap and Dream knew it was the alarm signaling lock down.

All the boys were on the verge of panic as they scrambled to lock the doors and secure their house, George was still quite confused and peeked outside the window. The brunette gasped at the sight of multiple people. No-...Giants?

George stared as citizens ran around as the gigantic humans were attempting to step on them. George could feel he was going to hurl at the sight and backed away. Dream and Sapnap have yet to see the commotion outside and were confused when George was panicked and had sweat dripping down his forehead.

"George- Dude you alright?" Sapnap spoke as he stared with a concerned look, "T-Ther-..." George stuttered as he spoke "T-There's...Giants-..." Sapnap and Dream were still befuddled with George's actions, Sapnap took a peep at the window and saw ruin. The streets were trashed and loud noises were heard from the outside—maybe they would have heard if Dream didn't have a sound proof house—Faint screams and crashes could be heard from the outside.

As time passed with the three boys sitting in the living room waiting for further news, George and Sapnap were both shaken up Dream didn't bother to check outside. Although his curiosity wouldn't last long as Sapnap and George each share what they saw.

Hours passed...Not a single announcement came from the news, They all felt nervous yet none of them dared to peek outside again. From George's explanation of apparent giant's they were anxious if the 'giants' spotted them.

It was starting to get nerve wracking, They all thought about doing something productive.

George groaned at the idea and would rather stay on the couch, Sapnap and Dream both scoffed as they went to do other stuff.

Dream went to check on their water supply incase the water got cut, Whilst Sapnap went to see how long the food will last if it was rationed.

The TV suddenly switched to the news and all the boys heard it as they immediately jumped to check.

"Dear Citizens, Please stay in your houses. Humans are instantaneously turning into these gigantic beasts researchers have yet to find what has been causing this, Although apparently some still keep their human minds and gain thr ability to shift their sizes. Traffickers are using this to their advantages if they do get the ability. It could potentially be a sickness, Although whatever it is the symptoms are the following..." All of them were attentive and practically glued their eyes to the screen.

"Dizziness."

"Passing out at random times."

"Lost cravings for food."

"Random attacks."

"Itchy skin."

"Fevers that apparently come and go."

"Increase tiredness."

"These symptoms come very slowly for shifters as found out recently..."

They all took a deep sigh of relief, The news reporter continued.

"Please make sure the supplies you have will last 60 days, In 60 days the military will do a scout in the neighborhoods. If you live in the cities make sure you have food for 70 days. Then the military will do a scout then...We will inform you as soon as possible." After said the screen disconnected and the boys released a breath they didn't even know were holding.

There was silence. It was obvious they were in thought, "Well..." Sapnap spoke as he looked up at the two other males. "Atleast if we ration the food it'll last Atleast 75 days. But we should be fine since we're in a neighborhood"

"Luckily we got the timing right to buy groceries." George said as he gave a breathy laugh, "You mean I got the timing. You guys didn't even know I was going to get groceries!" Dream chuckled as he nudged George on the shoulder.

"Yea, yea whatever." George responded as he got up from the couch. Dream saw the light slowly dissappear from the outside of the window, "It's getting late-" Drean said as he took a peek just to make sure, "Cmon let's head to bed."

Dream groaned as he woke up from his bed, His head pounded as if he was drunk the entire night. He brushed it off as a result from stress, The blond peeked outside seeing as the skies were dark and it was foggy, Even with the fog he could tell it was destroyed and it looked horrible.

Dream slowly left his room as he heard chatter downstairs, Dream walked down the stairs as he instantly got greeted. "Hey sleepy head." Sapnap sneered as George stayed silent yet gave a cheery smile his way.

"Sorry I must've been stressed-" Dream muttered but luckily loud enough for the others to hear, "Anywa-" George was cut off by the ground softly shaking. Sapnap scrambled to check at the window as both Dream and George were frozen still—Dream was frozen due to him still being tired and George was terrified.

Sapnap saw one of the 'beasts' rummaging around the house that fell into ruin. It didn't even look human...It had torn clothes, sharp nail, and incredibly deadly canines.

It looked alarming as it pushed down the remaining standing walls of the house. Sapnap scrunched his face at the terrifying ease the giant creature took to do so.

"It's one of those giant things-" Sapnap whispered to the two males who were now suddenly beside him, "We should get away from the window and turn off the lights, We can't risk for it to see us." Dream ordered as he walked to the light switch quickly flicking it to turn it off.

They all sat up against a wall as the house now looked as if it was abandoned, The outside was trashed and the plants were dead. The air was still and all that the males could hear was the faint shuffling outside across the streets.

Soon the shuffling noises came to a brief stop, Then the soft pitter patter of the rain could be heard as it came in contact with the window. Dream stood up which confused the brunettes.

"I'll cook, Luckily we still have electricity it should last for a bit..." Dream grumbled as he went to the kitchen and turned on the light again, Dream took some eggs and started to fry them.

Dream's head throbbed in pain as his face was in the duvets of his bed. The whole day it was raining, They expected a thunderstorm tonight which should be fine. The house was pretty stable a storm shouldn't be a problem. I mean, It was Florida after all.

Dream was almost in tears he attempted to fall asleep which wasn't as hard as he anticipated.

"George give me back those Lay's!" Sapnap screamed although quiet enough to not alert the blond upstairs, "Not until you tell me where you hid my cookies!" George remarked. Sapnap took umbrage at his remarks.

"Fine it's over there-" Sapnap pointed at a place near the shoes as he caught his chips while George ran to reclaim his cookies, They were eating happily until they suddenly heard a loud crash upstairs. Wanting to know what it was, they gathered the courage and willed themselves to go upstairs and investigate what it was.

They crept upstairs, Sapnap leading first. They both knew Dream was upstairs yet he didn't say what he was doing, They entered the room which was at the end of the long hallway.

Dream was sitting on the floor with a scratch on his forehead which confused the brunettes. "Yo man are you okay-?" Sapnap uttered as he went nearer the blond "Why-...." Dream groaned before he continued, "Why does the door frame seem lower-" Dream let out a exasperated sigh.

George came up and both boys helped the blond stand up. Both brunettes gasped once the blond stood upright, Their friend was now way taller than they recalled, George gulped as he backed away a bit while Sapnap scrunched his face.

"Dream..." Sapnap managed to huff out, "What have you been feeling lately..." The stern look Sapnap gave made Dream suddenly realized the height difference. "Wha-...I don't know I've just been light headed recently." Dream's eyes widened at the grave realization. Both brunettes were already quite terrified.

The taller male stumbled back as he panicked, "B-But how!?" Dream retorted as he kept his gaze on the ground, Too ashamed to face his friends. "Look dude-...I don't know but you were outside before the outbreak happened." Sapnap stated.

"W-We should leave you alone, right now." Sapnap stuttered as he backed away to leave the room but came to an abrupt stop as he bumped into something behind him, "Sap we can't leave him like this!" George exclaimed.

"Look, George I don't want to but what other choice do we have?" Sapnap argued.

The two shorter males argued. Dream was so focused at his friends arguing he didn't realized he shrunk to his former height. Dream stood up to break apart the two before they mauled eachother.

"Stop!" Dream said as he bared his teeth, Glaring at the two boys he finally realized he was like his original height—Not like he could extremely tell, Dream couldn't look at someone and tell how tall they are—"Dude your a shifter-" Both brunettes spoke in unison as Dream cocked his eyebrow.

"Didn't they say shifters recieve the symptoms slower?" George intervened. "Atleast we have time to think before I well-..." Dream muttered as he recalled the symptoms. "Yea-..." George huffed as he lowered his head.

"L-Look I don't want to hurt you guys so I'll just stay in my room." Dream declared as he started to carefully escort his friends out of his room, "Wait-" Sapnap spoke but before he could continue the door was slammed shut. They heard a click signaling it was locked.

"Fine we'll bring you food later-..."

Dream sobbed as he fell to the floor, He let out strangled breaths and his heart ached. Whilst the two boys who were now downstairs, Worried about their friend. "Sapnap..." George turned hid head to look at the shorter, "What should we do...?" George had tears pricking his eyes.

"I don't know George..."

"I don't know..."

It took a while to answer but it's finally here :D

It's a bit short though, sorry ''':) (And now that im looking at the ask again, I don't completely know if I've really added much fluff; a bit has at the end though)

Where Mushrooms glow like Stardust

George loved to explore the Forest. Whenever he had the chance, he was out in the forest exploring its wonders and discovering its hidden secrets. He’d found so many wonderful things on his explorations. The odd ruined portal with golden apples or enchanted gear. Sometimes he found caves that led to dungeons filled with mobs and chests filled with jewels or the a rare music disc. His adventures often led to something new and exciting, and made each escapade a thrilling time.

So the very pretty glade filled with wild flowers and delicate mushrooms and tiny flowers had him at a stand still in awe. It was breath taking and shone in the soft glow of the afternoon sun. It was gorgeous and as George sat down leaned up against the old twisted oak tree, it’s no surprise he had fallen asleep in a matter of minutes.

When George awoke, it was to the sound of muffled voices. He blearily opened his eyes to the now moon lite glade, eyes searching for the voices but found no sign of anyone around.

But if he thought the glade look pretty during the day, then at night it was STUNNING! The glade had a soft magic to it and felt alive! But what really caught his eye, were the small mushrooms glowing before him.

Never before had he seen such a specimen of mushroom. The mushrooms shimmered and shined and like billions of tiny stars and were laid out in a small ring before him.

Wanting to get a better look, he moved towards them and was just about to touch the top of the closest one when suddenly a loud yell called out from behind him.

“DONT TOUCH THOSE!”

Whipping his head around, he was met face to face with two very small, and very pissed looking sprites. One was bright green and staring with a glare that looked like it could kill him on the spot, and to its right, a bright red and orange sprite that almost appeared to be on fire.

And said sprites were aiming what appeared to be, two very dangerous orbs of light straight at him.

Well that explained the voices.

Chapter One: Tomorrow

Note: @pleasentkai-gt, I heard a request for a part 2. Just so you know, I don’t know exactly how this will turn out. If it’s bad, I will re-write it at a later time. But for now, I will do my best. PART 2, GEORGES REVENGE! (Also, ‘lostpotatochip’ I swear to any God/s out there that if you read this back to me or make me aware that you read it, I will punt you into the motherfucking sun)

Warnings: safe vore, death mention, panic, implied death/digestion (none happen, well sorta it’s kinda hard to explain. You’ll just have to read it), sorta unwilling and willing prey, a bit of DNF, swearing, and I think that’s all. Tell me if I need to add more.

George gave off a slightly annoyed huff as he ran after Dream. He was the farthest behind because Dream started off by pushing him to the ground and taking off. Though, that was just another thing added to his reasons for his plan today. He wasn’t letting the masked man win today. Especially after last time.

The new mods they had added had made the manhunts much more interesting, and he was gunna use that to his advantage. There was one thought in George’s head, ‘get back at him’. Sapnap and Bad had asked nonstop what had happened, but he wouldn’t budge. This was between him and Dream. 

Eventually, Dream got away. That was ok though, since now he had time to put together his plan. George had asked his boyfriend for the recipe, but Dream would only brush off the question saying something along the lines of “That’s something I’ll take to my grave, can’t be giving you easy wins in manhunts now, can I?”

Since the blonde wouldn’t give, he had dedicated his free time to gathering every ingredient just to try it out. After hours of gathering and multiple failed attempts, George found it. His ticket to win and to get back at the bastard for the dirty trick he played last time.

If he was being honest, he was avoiding Dream. He knew that he was supposed to be hunting him, but that would just put a pause in his work and run the risk of dying and losing some ingredients. So, despite the two voices scolding him for slaking and the taunting private messages from Dream about being scared to lose that same way a second time, George pushed on.

The Nether, why did it have to be the Nether? George barely had any armor, but the last ingredient was blaze powder. Maybe he should have stopped to some iron armor while he was working, but he was already here, so it would be a shame to turn back now. With half damaged leather armor, a stone axe, and a shield, he battled to blaze. He thought the game was bugged or something, why weren’t they drop-... BLAZE RODS! Yes, he did it!

Dream’s voice came over the communicator, “Why are YOU getting blaze rods? You have no use for them.” “I’m going to the End before you. I’m saying this, because you can’t do anything about it,” George responded, a smirk on his face. Dream made an annoyed sound and muttered under his breathe, “Oh my god, of course you are.” Bad and Sapnap’s voices came over the communicator again, “George, come back here and help us. We could have killed him already, if you were here.” George rolled his eyes and left the blaze spawner.

He blocked himself in a safer room and brewed the potion. He smirked and pocketed it, then unblocked the room. Knowing that the blaze spawner he went to is the closest one and that that’s the one Dream would go to if he was lucky enough for the blonde to come to this one specifically. The hallway he was in had a chest in the corner. If Dream stopped to loot it, George could ambush him. So, he dug into the wall and went up, right over the chest to wait.

And it seemed luck was on his side, the message ‘Dream has made the advancement [A Terrible Fortress]’ popped up. He could hear his teammates get upset over the message, but he could only smile to himself as he saw Dream’s gamertag coming his way. George heard the chest open, and quicker than he had ever moved before, he broke the block over the chest and threw the potion down. He heard the glass shatter and a surprised gasp come from the now smaller male.

George jumped down, landing on top of the chest. His gaze shifted to the tiny on the ground. A devilish grin spread across his face when he saw the familiar smiling mask. Dream tried to get up and run, but George was faster and snatched him up. The masked man wiggled and squirmed, trying anything he could to get out of his boyfriend’s grasp. “That won’t do you any good (any Legends of Zelda fans?),” George’s voice said from above him.

“George! Let me go!” Dream shouted out. “Sorry, can’t do that. I have to get my revenge first,” George chuckled, and lifted Dream to his face. George licked at the tiny’s face, making Dream groan and knocking off the mask. George then quickly shoved Dream in his mouth, making him shout in surprise. The soft click of teeth behind sealed Dream inside. George started to hum to himself as he licked at his miniature boyfriend.

Dream grimaced at the disgusting feeling of the tongue practically attacking him. He scrambled around, trying to get out, but he knew he couldn’t do anything. His fate rested in George’s hands, and he already knew George, being the petty person he is, wouldn’t have any mercy on him.

After what felt like forever of George licking him, the feeling of falling spiked in him, but he didn’t fight back. He let himself slide back and downwards with a loud gulp. It became a bit harder to breathe from the muscles that were surrounding him, but he didn’t really mind. The sound of the loud heartbeat vibrated through him as he passed by. And soon, he was pushed deposited into a larger space.

“No fair, you used my trick against me,” Dream called up. George chuckled, “You added the mods, and there is nothing against it in the rule book.” Dream just huffed. The communicator buzzed, George looked down and saw four new notifications on the screen ‘Sapnap has made the advancement [We Need to Go Deeper]. Badboyhalo has made the advancement [We Need to Go Deeper]. Sapnap has made the advancement [A Terrible Fortress]. Badboyhalo has made the advancement [A Terrible Fortress].’ George quickly dug into the wall and covered the path, crouching so no one would notice him. Sapnap and Bad’s gamertags came around the corner but stopped at the chest. The two looked at the miniature mask on the ground then at each other. “What the...?” they both said in unison.

Dream sighed as he heard the light sizzling sounds of acid. He crawled to the middle, accepting defeat and placed his hand in it, getting insta-killed and his vision went dark. He felt nauseous when he respawned, he hated that feeling. He sat up on the grass, and let his eyes adjust to the sun. Then he looked down at his communicator, ‘Dream was killed by Intentional Game Design’ and a private message from George “We’re even now”. The three hunters teleported to Dream, Sapnap and Bad looking confused and George who looked at Dream triumphantly then helped him up. “GG,” was all Dream said, pulling his respawned mask over his face.

The two ignored the questioning comments from the others, and just shifted back to their reality. Dream flipped George off, but he only got a slight playful chuckle from his boyfriend. Next thing he knows, he’s being tackled and then cuddled by the overly clingy brunet.

---------------- Left Alone -----------------

Notes: This was fun to write. That’s all I’m gonna say cause then I’ll spoil it. But have a Dream Team one now! Ft. tiny Dream who definitely still has the abilities of a speedrunner still.

Dream had never felt so scared in his life. In all of his years borrowing from this house, the one he had lived in for years with the same two residents, he had never once aroused suspicion. And now suddenly he was sure one of the humans had just seen him with a grape in tow duck into his small entrance on the kitchen counter.

He was sitting on the floor of his small hole, the grape still sat in his lap. He wanted to throw it and be angry at it. That grape was the reason he was probably just seen. But he was hungry and even this grape was only going to last him so long. Not long enough. 

Dream sighed and adjusted his small handmade cardboard mask so he could take a bite of the fruit. He just had to hope luck was still on his side, and if the human did see him they wouldn’t do anything about it.

The next night, Dream slung his borrowing bag over his shoulders. He needed more food whether he was staying or not. Neither human had made any indication of knowing of his presence yet, so he was still hesitant to leave just yet. This house was as much of a perfect home to Dream as it was to the two humans who lived here.

They had both been in this house as long as Dream. Dream found the house one day before these boys had moved in. He wasn’t originally planning on staying because the house was completely unoccupied, there was no food to borrow there. But when he was about to leave he heard commotion outside and watched people bringing stuff into the house. He decided to stay a little longer. After all, he knew from other borrowers he had met that when new humans arrived at a new house, losing items was normal. Humans wouldn’t suspect a thing. 

And Dream had only planned on staying another week to milk the moving in period. But then he grew attached and by the time he realized it, he had basically moved into the house as well. For years, Dream had used his abilities that were unusually good, even for a borrower, to borrow and escape any suspicion. The two boys were unaware for years. So Dream thought it could still be likely that the human who had seen him would pass it off as a trick of the eye, or maybe didn’t even see him. 

With that reassurance in his mind, he peeked out of his hole to assure the humans had headed off to bed. He stepped out as quietly as he could and began making his way to any food left out on the counter. And then he stopped.

A small pile was laid right around the toaster his hole was hidden behind. There looked to be a cracker, another grape, some small pieces of bread, and a small slice of cheese. Dream suddenly clutched the strap of his bag, ready to make a break for it. He darted his gaze around trying to find something, anything, that would signify this to being a trap. The human had seen him. Dream had to leave.

But against all caution, he approached the pile. He reached out for the cheese and was surprised that it still felt cool. The food was put out right before the humans went to their rooms. And there was no trap.

‘But the human saw you, you have to leave.’ Dream stared at the food laid before him. He was seen, but the human only left food out. Maybe it was to guarantee his existence. A small voice in the back of his head whispered that it could have been pure kindness. That was hard to believe, but at this point Dream wanted to believe it. He didn’t want to leave. 

He made up his mind. He slung his bag off his shoulders and began putting the food in to take back. He wasn’t leaving this house. Not until one of the boys makes an active attempt to truly catch him.

The next couple nights, nothing strange happened again. The humans still followed their normal routine and no more food was left out on the counter, except for the common forgotten snack. There was no indication of them buying any traps or calling any exterminators. Dream was safe.

He hopped out of his hole by the counter, hoping that one of the humans had left a drawer open so he could get himself a new paperclip. His hook was getting old and Dream was afraid it may break soon. He didn’t want to risk a fall from a high place. That could either kill him or leave him vulnerable to be truly caught. That wasn’t a situation Dream would ever be caught in. Maybe that reckless borrower Dream had met some years back, but not him.

He stepped out onto the counter and quickly ran to the edge to check for any open drawer. He grumbled in annoyance when he saw none of them were open, and unable for him to open as well. He began to pick himself up off the edge when he heard footsteps. He shot up in surprise and stumbled to his feet. He thought the humans had gone to their rooms. And it sounded like both of them. ‘Shit, I gotta get out of here-’

“-can’t forget the snacks when we have movie night, Sap! You know this.”

“Yeah, yeah. Sorry. Just grab what you want. I’m gonna grab me some chips.”

Dream ran for the hole but of course, his luck finally ran dry. He tripped over his own feet and face planted on the counter. He quickly maneuvered his arms under himself to prop himself up.

“You good, dude? Need some help?”

Dream froze. He flipped himself around to see the human looking at him expectantly.

“Sapnap? Who are you talking to- oh! Our other roommate! Hi!” The one in blue smiled and waved at Dream, who just stared at the two humans.

Had he heard them right. Other roommate? But he wasn’t human. They all had never properly met. So why were they acting like this was the most normal situation to ever be in. He just laid there, mouth gaping up at the two humans.

“I’ll ask again, you good my man? Did you need something?”

“Ask nicer, Sapnap! He’s probably scared!” The other human called out from the other side of the kitchen as he went back to rummaging through the cabinet looking for food again. Like it didn’t bother him in the slightest that there was a like four inch man on the counter.

The human Sapnap looked at Dream expectantly still, and Dream realized he was probably getting impatient. That wasn’t good for a human.

“P-paperclip.” Dream looked down horrified at himself. One, he should have kept his mouth shut. That was one of the first rules of borrowers, right with don’t be seen. Two, the only word that came out of his mouth was paperclip. And he stuttered.

Sapnap just hummed and nodded looking down at the drawers. He reached out and opened one and pulled out a… paperclip? Dream watched in surprise as he set it down on the counter and slid it towards Dream slowly. He then pulled his hand back once it was in reach of Dream. Dream hesitantly reached out and picked it up, pulling a bit to test its strength subconsciously.

“Does that work for you, man? I can try and find a different one if it doesn’t work for you.” Dream noted that Sapnap had even taken a step back from the counter, as if not to startle the borrower.

“Y-yeah. This is good. Thank you.” He really was grateful, confused, but grateful. Subpoena just smiled and laughed.

“Cool! Don’t hesitate to ask next time!” He suddenly reached around Dream and grabbed a chip bag that was right behind him. “George and I will be in my room watching a movie if you want to join. I’ll see you around, man.”

George stood up with a colorful bag in hand and turned to wave at Dream. “Bye, roomie! See you around later!” And then they left. They just left.

What. Just. Happened?

Dream still sat on the counter staring at the entrance of the kitchen, half expecting them to come back with cruel smiles screaming, “we gotcha good, didn’t we?” But it never happened. He stood up on shaky legs and took his paperclip back to his hole. He sat down on his little cotton ball bed structure.

And then he started laughing. Who would have thought the humans would be so kind and so strange? Maybe he would take them up on their offer another night. For now, he needed sleep. Just to make sure this was real.
