Hi, I'm joining! I wasn't directly tagged by anyone, but @darlingtea404 encouraged anyone who hadn't joined to contribute, so here I am too! 😸

[Context: Sapnap has Borrower!Dream in a Cage, as you can imagine, Dream doesn't like that one bit-]

|One of the Weaker ones|

Borrower!Dream: "Hey, it's fall, you know what that means?"
"..."
Borrower!Dream: "Leaves!........ Like what I'd like to do!"

"Your highest grade was an F in 'how read a room'. Oh, sorry I missed your B in 'B'ing an asshole!!"

[Yeah- Dream is Not happy at All-]
[Also, it's worth mentioning that these lines were said over the course of a few weeks, Sapnap is not a great person in this{I apologize-}, there's mice in the walls, George is a Dormouse Hybrid in Hibernation & Dream is absolutely terrified for George's well-being while he's stuck trapped in a Cage afraid of telling Sapnap why he's so desperate to be let go{because of formentioned not great person-ness}]

MC_Poke_T; 'School Grounds'
—
[Have a summary of Stuff 👍]
—
So basically, right now my Brain is spiraling through who people's Pokemon are going to be, since it takes place in the Scarlet/Violet game academy.
Dream has a Mimikyu named "Eevee" because it's disguised as an Eevee instead of a Pikachu, which is technically his starter, since he got Mimikyu before he turns 10 & gets an official starter from the professor.
He chooses Sprigatito as his 'official' starter & names it "Patches". So right now Dream has Eevee The Mimikyu, & Patches The Sprigatito. I don't imagine Dream{or anyone really} to be the MC from the games {so no Koraidon/Miraidon}. I want him to get a Leafeon at some point, as a little angst bit for Eevee & Dream so they can have a Sweet wholesome bonding scene afterwards.
Sapnap & George are in this as transfer students, although, putting this out there now; I don't plan on having any ships for anyone in this AU, since they're all 10 year olds. Sapnap is a transfer student from Galar & is a Scorbunny Poke-Person [Think 'Hybrid' but Pokemon{Please Don't Ask}], with a Scorbunny partner.
George is a transfer student from either Kalos or Kanto, I haven't decided yet. But I already want him to be a Water or Ice Type Poke-Person, I'm immediately thinking his Vapaceon [Water/Ice Type] from Eeveelution;SMP, just because I feel it fits him, plus it's from Kanto. I actually feel like George would hide his Poke-features, simply because he's a bit self-conscious about them.

"Borrower Brothers"

[Who wants something small for their brain to rattle about?]
—
Dream paused, wondering what to do. He shuffles his hand slowly until it's facing palm up next to them. The smaller of the two crawls into the palm of his hand, pulling the other with them; the pair curl up with each other, possibly from the chilly air. Dream moves his other hand to where he's carefully cupped around the two tiny forms in his hand.
He slowly brings them close to his chest, opening his hands slightly & peering down at the pair huddled together. The Bat borrower reaches out before pausing briefly, slowly grabbing the soft fabric of Dream's jacket. Dream holds the pair close as he walks into the living room/kitchen area, once he's there he grabs his phone from the table & dials a familiar number.
After the other end picks up, Dream speaks in a hushed voice into the phone, "Hey Bad……"
"Hey!" Came the cheerful reply, "What's up? You're not usually a caller, especially without notice."
Dream shuffles a bit, "It-it's hard to explain…. Over the phone at least- but, could you please come over real quick…. & bring Sapnap with you-?",
"Yeah?" Bad's confusion radiates through the word, "hold on, we'll be right there."
Dream nods to himself, "Thanks…" He responds before he hangs up.

His body twitched as he laid there, emotionless on the ground, his eyes cloudy; mouth dry. Each and only thoughts on his mind was to remind himself to breathe, at the moment no other soul was around, only the bloody carcasses of animals; a gruesome sight, where he would once emit care, laid a shell of a man; no ounce of the person he once was.
Time was irrelevant to him, no longer could he tell when a day has gone by, everything blurring together, he swears he feels dead, the way his body is cold and his breaths could be barely felt by he himself.
His eye's drooped closed, what little energy he had grasped on was whisked away, each shallow and sharp breath he took; pained his chest, he took one last weak glance at the trees he caught sight of, and drifted off.
<><>○<><>
A man—giant— walked across the lands, not a single thought in mind, he was just a wandering traveler after all, heading into the unexpected. No end in mind, a weird sense of dread, crawled up his skin; the cold air nipping at his skin as it neared the winter season, flocks of birds migrating infront of him, as they ran from the freezing temperatures.
He sighs, and closes his eyes, his strides continuing, this time his other senses took over as he guided his body through the trees. The ground dipped and his eye's zapped opened and stared at the ground.
A clear line was drawn on the ground; clearly made by a giant, it was the line they created just to say, "there's still humans here, be careful when crossed, blah blah." The giant sighed, it seems there is an end to his journey(for this direction atleast)
He coughed and let out a sigh, he turned around and started heading back, the man was only a few minutes into his journey back until he heard a deep groan of pain; he blinked for a few moments, strands of brown hair falling on his face as he made sure he wasn't hearing things. A few moments pass and he heard another groan, he turned around to look for the source and peeking behind the trees he could see a weird lump; moving? Breathing.
The man gasped and quickly went over and the sight made his stomach drop, he was a bit of a softie, okay! The bloody carcasses of animals accompanied with the stench of rot and death was sickening and the man laying in the midst of it all did not help ease him, he would've thought the man was dead if it was not for his chest that weakly rose and fell.
He took a step forward, holding in his breath, the man infront of him looked disheveled and sickening, his stomach dropped as he saw the man twitch; he was considering on turning around, forgetting this entire ordeal, but the man in front of him made him think. His cheeks were faintly sunken in, the dark bags under his eyes were a pain to see, the matted and bloodied hair making him feel a weird disgusted feeling. He felt- sympathy and remorse, for the man infront of him.
He grimaced as he pushed away the rotting animal corpses, giving him enough space to kneel; his cottage wasn't to far anyways—he had on a satchel that touched the ground as he kneeled. His hand twitched as he slowly inched to touch the man, unruly rough skin met soft delicate ones. The off-putting feeling made him wince, and the contact of the two made Dream flinch.
Yet the man smiled, a soft, caring look on his face, even with the blond man's clearly starved state, he was a struggle to move. He hoisted him up his shoulder, the passed out giant clearly taller than him.
<><>○<><>
Heat...Warmth...Crackling-
Fire?
Dreams eyes blinked open, the first thing that filled his vision was the color orange, he instantly sat up, confused with his surroundings, he could tell he was on some sort of makeshift couch, his eyes darted left and right, the unfamiliar surrounding; slowly unblurring.
"Oh! You're awake!"
A voice, chipper and bubbly, came up from behind him, as his eyes zapped to look at the giant behind him, the mans brown locks falling infront of his face, the blond was confused and slowly adjusted his body to turn to him; sure, maybe he should have tried running away after waking up in a strange place, and being greeted by a fellow giant who he had no recall of knowing, however, his body ached and the somewhat plush couch he was on helped eased the tension in his body.
"How're you feeling?" The brunette said, slowly inching closer placing a bowl filled with something he couldn't comprehend at the moment on the table infront of him. The other giant sat beside him on the couch, slowly as to not startle the blond, "How're you feeling?" He smiled, repeating his question after a few minutes of deafening silence.
"Can—Can I feel your head?" The brunette asked with softness in his tone, Dream blinked, unsure with what to do, he craned his neck and nodded, Bad was pleased with the answer and reached out one hand to feel his temperature, surprisingly the man seemed to be okay, besides the obvious scars on his body.
"I made pottage stew- here you can have it." He says, picking up the bowl and handing it over to him, it took Dream a few moments to register what he was doing and brought his shaky hands to clutch the bowl. "I'm Bad." The brunette said, his lips parting and shaping into a very toothy smile.
The blond felt ashamed and confused, this random stranger was here- helping him? "Bad?" He breathed out, the brunette giggled, "Yeah- it's an unusual name, what's yours?" He looked down, muttering, "...Dream." Bad hummed in reply, and gestured to the soup. "I'll leave you to eat, we took a two day travel here and you were passed out the whole way..." After a giggle in which Dream responded with an awkward chuckle, the brunette turned the corner; leaving Dream, befuddled, and utterly alone with his thoughts.
He stared at the bowl in his hands; in which they shook lightly, almost threatening to drop it. He sighed, his shoulders slumping and his fingers found a way to the spoon, he scooped up some soup and gently brought it up to his chapped lips. As the soup landed on his tongue, he raised his eyebrows, it was...okay?
Don't get him wrong, he's extremely thankful, he's actually been given somewhat of a meal after months of bearing with whatever he could scrounge up. But- the soup tasted bland, or maybe it just wasn't his taste. Yeah, that was probably it.
He still of course gulped it all down, it was still quite filling and it satisfied him just enough. The blond placed the empty bowl down and took another look in the room he was in; the cottage was quaint, it didn't have much; which was expected, not many giants had the resources to make a somewhat lavish home.
He let out a deep sigh, he shifted in his seat; both his body and the chair, groaning, he spotted a clump of thin fabric, assumed to be a blanket. He lifted up the item, draping it around his body. Then he thought.
Bad seemed nice enough.
He helped him after all.
Speaking of, the man entered back into the room, a gentle smile on his face. In his hands, held a fresh pair of clothes, neatly folded in his arms, "I got you a decent set of clothes." He beamed, seeming just a tad bit cheerier than before, he heard a soft thud and he realized that Bad was holding a cup of water, and had just placed it down, how did he not see that?
He rasped out a thank you, hoarse and rough words leaving his lips, Bad giggled and gestured to the water; "Yeah, you definitely need a drink, your throat is bone dry." Dream lifted the cup to his opened mouth, chugging it down; he realized how thirsty he was, the cup was placed down on the table and Bad finally handed him the clothes.
"You can change right here, if you need anything I'll be in the other room!" He waves a hand and quickly disappeared behind the walls again.
Okay, he could deal with this, maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
He swears, he's dying.
Okay, maybe he was exaggerating, just a teensy-tiny bit; here's the thing, even with Bad helping him out, and him doing his best to help in any way he can; and Bad was a delight, his health wasn't doing well, his immune system had apparently weakened after he lived in unhealthy conditions, he would constantly get fevers; yet, Bad was there and took the time to care for him.
Even after everything that Bad was doing for him, he was constantly unsatisfied and uncomfortable. Not because of the other of course- well, maybe? Dream was not one to judge, but, the food Bad had been serving him has been rather...bland. It was hard to describe, Dream knew it was good, since another traveler came by and asked if they could get a meal and they raved about the simple dish that the other had made until they left to continue their travel.
So Dream thought maybe the dishes just weren't to his taste, until, Bad handed him a simple loaf of bread; it couldn't be anymore simpler(well sorta). In short: he knew that Bad's cooking wasn't the problem.
So what was it?
He never really felt hungry, per se, he just felt unsatisfied, sometimes he'd turn a bit agitated, he wasn't proud of it; but he couldn't just tell that to Bad! He had already done so much for him, yet, he couldn't take it, he was weak ever since he was ever captured.
That night he tossed and turned on the couch, which was still generously provided by the brunette as a place to rest on. The fire place wasn't lit with a warm blaze, the only source of light being the rays of moonlight gleaming through the windows. The couch creaked as his weight left and he stood by the window staring above. The full moon an ethereal mirror reflecting the whispers of the cosmos, capturing the secrets of the universe in its luminous embrace. Dancing across his features, illuminating his beauty too anyone that may have seen him.
His stomach grumbled and flashes of memories resurfaced to the front of his mind, he felt a familiar taste lingering on his tongue, the taste of raw alive meat heavy on his tastebuds, animal or human? He couldn't tell. His stomach continued to groan, clearly the meal from earlier didn't satiate his hunger. He turned around, his feet carrying him towards the hallway.
The cottage was quiet, eerily so, he crept through the short hall, he spotted Bad's room, his door was completely shut which eased him ever so slightly. Bad was a heavy sleeper, that he learned. His feet led him towards the kitchen, his hands reaching on the counter top where a bowl of walnuts sat. The blonds fingertips were about to grab them, yet, he sagged and dropped his arms. His body was practically begging for food, yet the kitchen had nothing to offer him that appealed to him.
His eyes landed on the door.
He could go hunt.
Bad wouldn't mind.
His tastebuds moaned as the first taste of meat fell on his tongue, he had wandered off into the night searching for a midnight snack; which led to the poor demise of a sleeping deer. Of course, that would only be the first, but the buck itself filled him with a sense of calm, flooding his tastebuds with a flavor that felt...right.
Throughout the night he could only find small critters, which were quite hard to grab; they all scurried off in a frenzy the second they sensed him, he sighed deeply, he wasn't even frustrated. The serenity of the moonlit night was different, this was the first time he actually gotten to rest and appreciate the night in a long, long while. Not even the crickets chirped, only the softest, of the gentle breezes accompanied him and his thoughts.
He was still hungry, that was obvious but, for now, he could wait..
He didn't know how long he stayed there, leaning against a huge tree; eyes shut, and breaths steady. He just knew, when he heard a faint, yet, deep rumble. His eyes blinked opened and he turned his head to look behind the trees, he spotted a cave, like an empty black void, he couldn't see what was making that sound; he could only hear.
Dream sat patiently, as he awaited for whatever thing or creature emerged from the depths of darkness, his entire body perked uo as he watched a huge brown paw peek out and he had to physically seize his body to stop him from immediately pouncing. He sat still in his place, his hands wrapping around and clenching the grass below him.
A mad grin found it's way to his face as the bear fully emerged out of it's cave, the bear was clearly groggy, stumbling over its own footing; whom clearly had just woken up from its slumber, the bear sniffed the air; still unaware of his presence. The creature had it's back face to him and in queue his attention went to his growling stomach and growing hunger.
As the bear was distracted he let go and immediately lunged at the bear, with limited reaction time in a few desperate moments of struggle, Dream prevailed and the bear would soon end up in his stomach. It was a gnarly sight to see, it wasn't exactly messy, just- disturbing. If a giant passed by then they'd shrug, likely not even looking his way. But if a human saw him, then that's different.
Seeing a giant bulky bear being chewed to the bone by a giant wouldn't be something a sane human would want to see, and on top of that, Dream was there, sitting in an awkward position; savoring the creature, with small bites. He couldn't remember the last time he had eaten like this, with such wild and unrestrained abandon.. it was like he had transformed into a wild animal, a creature driven by instinct and desire...and it felt so damn good...he knew that he must have looked ridiculous and uncouth, but he didn't care...all that mattered was the taste and texture of the meat, the feeling of it sliding down his throat and filling his belly...he was in heaven, pure and absolute heaven...
His world stopped as he heard a voice.
"...Dream?"
With a gulp, he slowly turned his head to the side, seeing two dark figures; ever so slowly inching closer to him. His heart raced as the moonlight shone upon the figures faces. Their small human bodies tense, and so was he. The blonds eyes widened as he took a good long look at them, and they all sat in an uncomfortable silence.
eret starts out as a borrower in lmanberg, and makes a deal with dream to change them into a human. there are, of course, consequences to this. when shifting reality like this, everything must have an equal and equivalent exchange, and lets just say eret's deal affected more than just him :)
does dream ever properly apologize to sapnap and george ? or do they all just understand that dream has changed ?
So...at first, Dream in the puppeteer au doesn’t really feel like he needs to apologize for what he’s done to them. It’s in the past, it’s done, he’s nicer now. He doesn’t enjoy scaring/hurting them anymore (all he can think about now whenever he DOES scare them is George limp in his hands and the look on Sapnap’s face when he thought George was gone) and he feels guilty, but he refuses to address it. He sorta apologizes for almost drowning George but he doesn’t apologize for anything else.
However, as time goes on and they become more like friends (and as he starts to realize that he’s getting attached to them, which scares him) he starts to understand that he really SHOULD apologize to them, but he isn’t sure how to and he has a BIT too much pride to admit he was wrong.
He’s going to mess up one more time (I have several ideas) and that will be the big moment, where he either needs to truly apologize and admit that he was wrong or risk them leaving forever. And, of course, they have no obligation to accept his apology so they might still decide to leave.
The borrowers understand that he has changed (actions speak louder than words, and while he isn’t perfect he’s definitely doing better), but an apology will be necessary to let them know that this change will stick and that he isn’t planning on going back to being mean at some point.
(I really need to explain how the threads work in this au because I really haven’t yet, but that’s be a long post so it’ll have to wait. But basically they can be tied to emotions too and they’re more complicated than just “Dream pulls on them like puppet strings and controls them.”)

[And by that I mean a Complete Summary of the whole thing. 😅😹👍]
[Do Not Read If You Don't Want To Get Spoiled For When I Post It Fully Sometime Next Week]
———————————————————
Warnings: Brief Mentions of Dehumanizing/Treating People like Pets, Poisoning, & Near Death Experience.
|Summary Start|
———————————————————
*Ex*terminator AU is basically an AU where Dream is an exterminator who had been fired from his job for a very stupid reason[Saving caged Miniatures(Small Hybrids{Not George & Sapnap}) who were being treated like pets by sneaking them out of the house].
The story kicks off with explaining the scene of him helping the miniatures & getting fired for 'not following protocol' by not calling the cops to deal with it. Dream was {rightfully} a bit peeved, as the cops don't do a good job of actually preventing that stuff from happening in the first place.
But as soon as the explaining of the scene is done, it does a hard snap cut to Dream in a McDonald's drive-thru where it's revealed that Dream was relaying the events to a very tired but patient Technoblade who was working the window [For some reason I find it absolutely hilarious to Invision Technoblade working at a McDonald's drive-thru 😹].
Techno, as polite as he can, says "Dream- as much as I'd like to be able to stand here & talk about all the ways the government sucks... I have 30 minutes left on my shift and-" *Points at the line of cars behind Dream's truck[For some reason I imagine that he drives a truck, simply because it's easier to transfer his work stuff.]* "-I have 8 more cars to deal with..." To which Dream then realizes how long he was there for & apologizes before driving off, there's a snippet of a Karen throwing her drink at Techno through the window due to the long wait in the rearview mirror of Dream's truck, with him mumbling "Sorry Techno-".
So then Dream heads over to Antfrost's apartment where there's a long scene of Antfrost, Dream & Velvet{Who's a Mini bat hybrid} chatting until Dream eventually leaves to go home. While Dream is at home, he sees that some of the stuff in his pantry has been riffled through. He thinks that he has rats in the house, so he sets up a simple plastic box trap with a towel over top of it on the kitchen counter & places a small {poisoned} cracker inside before he heads back out the next day.
When he gets home a bit earlier than usual due to not working, he checks the trap & is shocked to see two Small Hybrids, a Bat Borrower & Mouse, inside. The Mouse hybrid appears very ill while the Bat hybrid is standing in a defensive position in front of them. It doesn't take much for Dream to connect the dots that the Mouse hybrid had eaten some of the poisoned cracker.
Not knowing how long ago the poisoned cracker was consumed, Dream tried to move quickly, but also slowly enough to attempt not to spook them. This failed however, as the Bat borrower quickly shuffled to position themself in front of the Mouse hybrid more, protectively curling their long, thin tail around them. Dream tries his best to calm the Borrower down, though the shaking angry squeaks he gets in return do little to pursuade success, leading Dream to believe that there may be a language barrier.
He eventually manages to carefully cup his hands loosely around the pair, but this causes the Bat borrower to attempt to scramble out of the trap while carrying the Mouse hybrid, stumbling to the countertop outside of it. The Mouse hybrid lets out a weak squeak while looking at the Bat hybrid & the Borrower hesitates before swiftly scurrying to a hole in the wall, leaving the Mouse hybrid shaking in front of Dream. Dream flinches before slowly scooping up the tiny, trembling body into his hands, alarm ringing through his head as he feels the slower than normal heartbeat.
He rushes to the bathroom attached to his room before riffling through the mirror cabinets looking for medicine, he eventually finds the small container. Picking up a miniature syringe out of a drawer, he fills the tiny syringe with the medicinal fluid, the Mouse hybrid in his other hand weakly squirming to get away. Dream attempts to soothe the small hybrid, eventually figuring out that the Mouse can understand him & somewhat read, allowing them to see the label on the medicine vial. The Mouse hybrid calms down enough to let Dream give them the syringe to drink the medicine out of, Dream gaining relief when he feels their heartbeat begin to steadily regulate.
Afterwards Dream brings the Mouse hybrid back to the kitchen counter where he gives them two nonpoisonous crackers, showing them that they're not poisoned by eating one out of the pack. The Mouse hybrid then makes their way towards the wall, stumbling a bit, they turn to Dream tiredly waving as they vanish into the shadowed crevice.
My head is scattered & I can't decide on a Fic to work on.
[And they're all Dsmp g/t Of course]
Which Fic should I Try to work on this week?

Short Story 'Summaries' Under The Cut;
————————————
Borrower_Brothers: Kid Smallfolk/Borrower!Clingy Duo get adopted by Tallfolk/Human!Dream.
————————————
"A Sting in Spring Rain" / "A Spring Weather Wind": Human!Dream meets Fae!George after saving him from a hawk, & now has to with a mischievous Fairy who won't give him a days rest.
————————————
"Caged": Tallfolk!Sapnap has Smallfolk/Borrower!Dream in a cage, lots of fighting occurs & harsh words are exchanged.
"Okay, class, for your exam next week; you will present a spell you've learned, any spell at all, that you know. Remember, the spell you will choose determines your grade." The professor states, "Anyways, class dismissed-!" He announced before clearing his voice and continuing, "Except you, Davidson." He said, pointing at the brunette. The brunette gulped as he walked up to his professor.
"What do you need me for, sir?" He asked vaguely. His professor looked at him and sighed. "This spell exam will give you a high grade if you pass it. It's the boost you need to save your grades." He answered. The student's eyes went wide with excitement. "So expect you to present a great spell next week." His professor grinned, "I'll try not to let you down!" The brunette cheerfully said; grabbing his stuff and waved his teacher goodbye.
He was walking the hallways of his school when his friend hugged him tightly.
"Georgeee!!" He giggles as he embraced the brunette, George rolled his eyes as he patted his friends back. "Hey Karl." He chuckles lightly. "What spell are you planning to present next week?" The other brunette inquired. George sighed, "Honestly, I'm not sure- Later, I'll browse my spell books at home."
Karl giggled, "C'mon, let's head back to our dorm!" He grabbed the others' arm, dragging him across the halls. They both prattled about as they walked towards their dorm, the number of people around began to dwindle as they now stood at the dorm halls in front of their door.
Karl unlocked their door as the two walked in, "I'm gonna go out later with Sap." The taller brunette reminded as the other nodded and went to his room to study. The shorter dropped his bags, walking to his shelf to grab the very few books on incantations and spells he had. He hoped one of these books had a spell he could present, George cringed at the thought of having to go to the academy library.
He sat himself down on his desk chair and began flipping through one of his books. He reached out for his wand as he spotted a simple levitation spell, "A warm-up sounds appropriate-" He thought as he chanted the spell, the pencil in front of him began to float. The brunette dropped his wand back on the desk, the pencil dropping as well with a quiet 'clatter'.
The brunette sighed as he flipped through the pages. It was either too boring or too complicated for him. He regretted his lack of listening skills during classes, he slammed his head onto his desk repeatedly and groaned.
He just finished all three of his spell books, and he really couldn't find anything that would impress his professor. He turned his head to his clock.
00:04
George sighed, the library was surely already closed, he'd have to go tomorrow. He groaned in annoyance as he picked himself up just to drag himself over to his bed and flop down. His eyes slid shut as the world turned black.
~—☆—~
"I'm gonna head to the library." George notified the other, Karl gave him a thumbs up as he went back to reading his book. The shorter closed the door behind him and made his way to the library.
After he got through the maze of people in the corridors, he finally made it to the university library, a hefty amount of people were there, although it was still quiet—most people's noses were immersed in their own books.
George walked passed the rows and rows of books, grabbing a few as he walked. Eventually, he ended up in the back of the library, secluded and silent. He placed his books on the desk and sat down on the chair.
The brunette once again went through each and every book he grabbed, library policy was that they couldn't use wands or anything magical in radius of the library, George rolled his eyes, many incidents caused the school to enforce that rule.
He spent hours perusing multiple spell books, even after each and every spell, incantation, and magic book he read he couldn't find anything eye-catching that would ensure him a high grade. He slammed the book shut as he once again finished it without finding a single spell he could perform(He could definitely perform a lot of them. He just didn't wanna do the effort).
He rubbed his eyes as he stared down at the book in front of him; he sighed in disappointment as he got up to place the books back. As he neatly placed the books back, another one caught his eye.
The book was sprawled across the ground in a rather disheveled manner. His curiosity piqued as he took a few strides towards the book. He bent down to pick up as he flipped it over and dusted it. He carefully gazed upon the title as he hummed.
'Incantations and Summoning Spells'
He was slowly losing hope, and the book he held gave him another chance he grinned as he went back down to take a seat. He spent another few minutes, flipping through the pages. Almost all of them were written in an indecipherable language. It was still mixed with english.
A particular page caught his attention as it was messy and unorganized, unlike every page that came before it. He barely understood anything he did. However, found the word 'Brobdingnagian' weirdly cool. He chuckled as he spotted the simple instructions to perform whatever ritual to apparently summon something?
He was losing time and it wouldn't hurt to try it right? There was a forest just on the other side of the mountain, he could go there tomorrow and attempt the ritual to prepare himself. He grinned as he packed up his stuff and checked the book out before heading back to his dorm.
As he entered the dormatory Karl was sitting on the couch eating a few snacks, still indulging in the book from earlier.
"Gogy is back!" He teased as he gave a snarky grin, the shorter brunette rolled his eyes as he responded. "Awh did you miss me~?" He joked as he watched Karl playfully roll his eyes. "Anyways, did you find a spell to present yet?" Karl asked intriguingly, The brunette nodded yet still unsure.
"Yeah I did, but I'm going out tomorrow to test it out." He groaned, "If this doesn't work then I'm for sure gonna fail." George said in distress. "I'm sure you'll do great." Karl praised as he gave him a thumbs up. George gave him a soft smile, he yawned as he clutched the book tightly.
He groggily headed towards his bedroom, relaxing completely as he fell flat on his bed. He then began to slowly get lulled to sleep, the brunette huffed as he shut his eyes.
George yawned, he stretched his arms, even after a full night's sleep he still felt drowsy, yet he pulled himself together and got up.
After a refreshing shower the brunette grabbed the necessities he would need. He reached out to grab his wand and the book on his desk, He ambitiously left his dorm as Karl waved him farewell.
George decided to dwell(or grouch) about the fact Karl and Sapnap decided to do a duo spell, He was personally mad that he didn't decide to go with that plan aswell. He walked passed numerous amout of students and faculty members during his walk to the exit.
Eventually he stepped out of academy grounds, he sighed as he began to stoll to the other side of the mountain. As he walked he initiated to familiarize himself with the spell(Ritual? Summoning?)
He subconsciously hummed to particularly no one but himself as he neared his destination, what he didn't realize was that he woke up late and in a few hours the sun would hide behind the horizon. He thought nothing of it as he seemed fo finally understand how to perform the spell.
He came to a stop right around a small clearing, he set down his bag beside a nearby tree. George grabbed the book along with his wand, he took one more look at the spell before casting it.
The soft breeze rustled the trees, the distant critters quietly watching the mage do his thing.
George was about to begin, but...
Something in the air shifted, George's movements stuttered, everything felt completely wrong, yet he decided to push through; the deadline was getting closer and he definitely couldn't afford to waste more time. So after a few unsteady breaths, he raised his arm and began to chant.
"Ανοίξτε τις πύλες σας στο βασίλειο με κολοσσιαία χαρακτηριστικά, αφήστε έναν άνθρωπο να μπει, στέκομαι εδώ και περιμένω την άφιξή τους. Φέρτε μου τα!"
For a moment nothing happened, George was about to be disappointed that it didn't work. Suddenly his world view shifted, a glowing ring began to expand from the ground. As the circle began to expand the effects of the spell began to take a toll on him as he became dizzy. George gasped as a giant creature was practically spat out of the ground. The brunette watched as it laid on the ground; heaving breath's.
His knees buckled as he fell to the ground, exhaustion took over his body as he weakly tried scrambling away. The giant infront of him silently cursed as it raised their head.
His eyes widened as he was met face to face with deep green eyes. George's vision became unfocused as his eyes trailed across the giant infront of him, fear struck him as the creature infront of him spoke.
"Where the hell am I-" The giant rumbled as they began to get up into a kneeling position, their shadow loomed over the brunette; George was now visibly shaking as he cranes his neck to gaze above. The giant seemed to sense his terror as their face twisted to sympathy.
"Shit uh-...Look I'm not gonna hurt you." The giant said awkwardly, George stared—to be fair the giant looked just like any normal man, just a hundred times larger—His head stirred with emotions his breathing became uneven.
Everything was just too much.
The giant stared down at the passed out mage as his face contorted into panic.
"Dammit-"
~—☆—~
George groaned as his eyes blinked open, his head pounding. His vision focused on the figure in front of him. The giant seemed to tense as they once again made eye contact. George tried moving away, yet his body felt weak. He could only weakly pull his knees closer.
The taller seemed to hesitate before speaking, yet he continued, "Hey, uhm- are you okay?" He muttered softly. George was taken aback with how gentle the giant was at the moment he could only mumble a loud enough response for the giant to hear. "J-Just tired..."
He smirked, "At least he isn't that scared anymore." The giant thought as he stared out of the cave. It was then the mage followed the giants gaze. Outside the cave were multiple tall trees hiding the cave entrance from the outside. George switched his gaze to look up at the giant, "Where—Where are we?" He nervously asked.
The man(is he even considered human?) infront of him turned his head to look at him, "The area we were in was wayy to open, so I traveled a bit and found this place." He said nonchalantly, the setting sun beamed on George's face as he snapped his head to stare at the sun, he quickly panicked as he realized it was going to be night soon, and he had no idea where he was.
He grab the wall beside him as he pushed himself up, he started walking towards the exit, hopefully to get back to the academy and get away from the problem he caused. Suddenly a fist slammed infront of him, terror came rushing back to him as he was reminded of the potential power the giant near him.
"Wait- where are you going?" The giant said all of a sudden, George backed away as the giant infront of him looked slightly outraged. "You need to bring me back-" He affirmed in dismay, George gulped as he tried thinking of an excuse, he eventually sighed and considered his circumstances.
"Fine we'll head out in the morning..."
The giant smiled softly as he realized he might have scared the mage, "Thanks...uhm-" He decided to change the subject. "So what's your name?"
George didn't wanna risk lying so he bit his lip and answered, "George..." He muttered.
"Well, uhm- I'm Dream." The giant who was apparently 'Dream' grinned softly. George gave him a nod as exhaustion hit him like a brick as he curled up beside the wall, "I'm going to sleep."
Dream hummed as he considered to stare outside of the cave.
"Goodnight George."
"...Goodnight Dream..."
