Hey, so I just found out about a really neat-looking game called Hometopia -- it's like co-op Sims Build Mode, where you build up a neighbourhood and a house together.

Hometopia is a brand new gaming dropping later this year and I just got the first ever play test demo.
Not only can you flip houses but you can freely build alone or with friends in a fun co-op mode.
Here is a house before and after (just the downstairs) I got after the tutorial and I’m flipping it to be my own.

This is where TS4 should have lived. Catering to builders in TS4, EA should have just made something this for them. And for players like me (MYSELF) I would have preferred EA concentrated on the "LIFE SIMULATION" aspect of the game and we simply buy worlds and download already built homes from the gallery (paid content). What I mean is, EA has traditionally offered CAS, Build/buy and gameplay and pulled it off successfully, but recently they (TS4) have not given equal parts of focus to each of those sections of the game leaving players to feel as though gameplay is WEAK. I would much rather have paid for a fully fleshed out game who's primary focus was on the "Life Simulation" aspect and paid money to download already developed homes from the gallery. Yeah, I can see paying for floorplans where I control the small things like picking colors and textures and can decorate the way I want but not build. This would be kind of like in real life when you have a home built in the suburbs. You can pick from a handful of model homes and you pick the countertops, cabinets, flooring and can upgrade the landscaping package or do it yourself. I think Cities Skylines calls them assets and you can download them from Steam into your game. Maybe with a future game this could be possible. Maybe even an online world that players basically build and upload and EA can just focus on the algorithm and AI for a more in-depth gameplay experience as a life simulator rather than an in-depth builder game.
