Yesterday (March 13) was my birthday, and even though life has been challenging lately, I wanted to celebrate by giving back to this amazing community. I'm dropping a small update to one of my most popular mods: Generate Random Friends!

What's New

The mod now allows you to generate random friends from specific worlds! This has been a highly requested feature, and I'm excited to finally implement it. The new version uses a two-level pie menu:

First select which world you want your new friends to come from

Then choose the age group as before

Package File Structure

I've organized the update into multiple packages so you only need to download what's relevant to the packs you own:

Required: Base Game Package (core functionality)

Optional: World-specific packages (only download for worlds you have)

Today's releases include two new holiday traditions to make your celebrations extra special, a cozy new carpet for your builds, and a small update to the Give Tip to Waitstaff mod!

Ever wanted your Sims to show appreciation for great service? Now they can! This mod introduces a tipping system to your Sims' dining experiences.

✨ Features:

Leave tips ranging from 5% to 20% of your bill

Tips are automatically calculated - no math needed!

Seamlessly integrates with the existing restaurant system

💫 How to Tip:

Click on your waiter/waitress

Select the restaurant pie menu

Choose "End Meal and Pay Bill + Tip"

Pick your tip percentage:

Pay Bill + 5% Tip

Pay Bill + 10% Tip

Pay Bill + 15% Tip

Pay Bill + 20% Tip

⚠️ Important Notes:

The tipping option is only available when you have an unpaid bill

Once you've paid your bill, the tipping options won't appear

The original "End Meal and Pay Bill" option remains available for those who prefer not to tip

Currently, tips are deducted from household funds but not given to the NPC servers. This feature may be added in a future update!

No more shaving your sims' body hair every day - this mod extends the growth cycle to a full 7 days.

✨ FEATURES:

7-day growth cycle (instead of 24 hours)

⚠️ NOTE: This is an override mod and may conflict with other mods that change body hair growth timing.

Ever felt like body hair grows so fast in The Sims 4, so you end up turning the hair growth feature off? This mod changes that!

📌 What This Mod Does: Instead of body hair fully growing back in just 24 hours, your Sims will now experience a 7-day growth cycle. The hair grows back throughout the week.

✨ Features:

7-day growth cycle for all body hair

Affects legs, arms, face, torso, and back

Compatible with base game body hair system

Works with High School Years puberty system

The following mods have been updated for the latest Sims 4 patch for PC (version 1.110.265.1030) and Mac (version 1.110.265.1230) as of October 23, 2024.

Also, none of my mods require the XML Injector anymore. They now require Lot 51's Core Library, which is also updated for the latest patch. Be sure you have an updated version in your game.

The Generate Random Friends mod allows you to add random new friends to your Sims' lives, tailored by age group.
