Getting the vibe right

I'm back in New Wales and I've been enamored with the feel of Chinatown in NY and its surrounding areas, like Little Italy. I think I found the vibe I want for this place.

Asset selection is really limited because CL was kinda all over the place but will have to do. Maybe I haven't been looking in the right places but I haven't found many CC decor either (signs, lanterns, etc.)

Of course I have my CC to populate the area as well, it still requires some refining and I know it's just a bunch of recolors but I'm so happy with how they look in-game.

I have been tinkering with the background a bit again, now that there's more and more deco buildings (thank you @yibssims for the heads up) it's time to go all out I think, but I still can't manage to have the bridge show up again even if I do a Selective Clone in S4S. Maybe I'm dumb and I'm missing something obvious.

One of the changes is with the big factory with this sign that reminds me of that one converted factory in Boroughsburg. I want it so bad to be the icon of the neighborhood but it's just a little bit large wherever it almost fits.

Also, there's a lot of open, awkward space that I'll have to figure out what to do with. But I think the vibe is getting closer to the real thing. I just need to place even more stuff. There're also some B&H factories that I'll be making into piers you can see in the corner.

I think this is gonna be the final lineup along what I called Minuit Square, I'll be TOOLing more stuff on the plaza like the tulips I've been lining about and covering that fence that I think may be built into the aream, from afar it looks alright but I think it doesn't have a proper texture, B&H have all its fences as Live Edit objects and one of them looks kinda like the New York City Parks fence so I'll overlap them and hope it looks alright lol.
