Finished a piece I've been working on for 9 months (albeit with several months in there that I didn't work on it at all because I was knitting sweaters over the winter)
Adapted from a pattern I found in the antique pattern library which was first published in a Parisian magazine in 1908. It measures about 56cm x 9.5cm.

Working on this project for my sister-in-law. Made the chart myself, based on a 1600s embroidery pattern. I plan to write up a parttern and sell it on Ravelry when I am done so stay tuned!

"The history of all times, and of today especially, teaches that woman will be forgotten if they forget to think about themselves." - Louise Otto-Peters (1819-1895)
"I may sometimes be willing to teach for nothing, but if paid at all, I shall never do a man's work for less than a man's pay." - Clara Barton (1821-1912)
"For me the beginning of all true progress in the woman question lies in women's right to vote. The strong the emphasis on the difference between the sexes, the clearer the need for the specific representation of woman." - Hedwig Dohm (1831-1919)

A nice Oseberg pattern for the weekend. Easy to weave and very contemplative.
It's made from wool with 16 card/tablets.
