Just watched most of it so first of all... you know how much I DIDNāT want a Rumbelle happy ending. Especially since NOTHING was resolved between them, they didnāt even talk,Belle didnāt even saidĀ āIām sorryā. It was the sameĀ āold storyā again. Rumple did a heroic thing so Belle ran back to him right away and suddenly love him again?! Itās not even funny anymore... One mistake and she will probably leave him again and try to steal Gideon from him again, or will stay with him just because of the baby which is also so fucking bad. So yeah... Iām probably the only one person who was a Rumbeller once and isnāt happy about theirĀ āhappyā ending/beginning/whatever. I also donāt like the fact that themĀ āsavingā Gideon made him a baby again. He should stay adult imo, with all the tragic past etc... Taking away everything heās been through just so Rumbelle can have a baby back isnāt the best move. I still remember that when Rumple wanted to de-age Bae everyone was screamingĀ ā no Rumple, is a bad idea!Ā ā but now the same people are so happy because of de - aged Gideon. Okay...enough of Rumbelle ranting because itās just making me angry :D Rumbelle for me Ā exist only in fanon where nothing since 3B happened.But the whole episodes were...surprisingly good. Loved so many things about it. There were so many good scenes. Sometimes it almost feels like it has a season one vibes. Regina/Evil Queen scenes, Swan Believer, Snowing, Rumple scenes, a bit of Henry/Rumple, Rumple playing a savior. A+ Bobby and Lana acting! And that last look Regina gave Rumple :D Oh if you wanna know my opinion on specific things ask more questions and Iāll probably write another rant ! :DAnd that adult Henry and his daughter scene made me intrigued!Ā

I love reading your posts, especially ones like this because I agree so much. I can see them doing all of these things and even if my take on other issues is not the same as yours, I always always always appreciate the effort you put into actually writing them.
Thank you! It would be odd if we all had the same take on the same issues. I really do think itās important to allow people to see what they are seeing. I think if we could talk to each other and explain why we are identifying with certain story aspect, how they pertain to our own lives and why theyāre so relevant to us, many interesting conversations could be had. And I have them all over the fandom, because itās easier one-on-one.
Of course, the fact that the story is open to interpretation combined with the queer subtext recreates societyās bigotry and prejudice on a micro level here. Itās the issue of any minority, that their history isnāt part of ācommon knowledgeā. It would take history lessons, some psychology and sociology before we could actually move on and be on that same level of understanding. Most often conversations between the SQ fandom and the rest go wrong because the other side doesnāt realize the impact of the things they donāt know. They see equality where in reality there is an enormous gap.
Similarly, I think specific issues on the show that are recurring and attract an audience to it that is bigger here than in the general population, but that share an experience could also do with having a starter package on how the show resonates to them specifically and what most people donāt know.Ā
Not sure what Iām even trying to say with this, got a little carried away... just that... I appreciate you reading in spite of not agreeing. I think many things are easier to accept once you know where someone is coming from or what the reasoning is, so I do try to include that when I write... If I have the time and energy. :)

No, actually! I started it because my sister said, āHey, have you seen this show? Itās really good,ā and I thought āHmm, Iāve caught up on my other shows. Iāll start this for casual watching.ā

Although tbh I was surprised they didnāt have hate sex by the end of season one but i guess being on ABC itās not that kind of show
