heatherbreeze as a parallel to nightcrow is sickening. its horrible. its evil. i love it. except breezepelt would see heathertail as a person, and would be against getting close to her because shes self aware enough to see that their relationship is similar to her father's.
breezepelt would have been ostracized from their clan at this, after fighting on the side of the dark forest in the great battle. she was never popular with her clanmates and this would have been the nail in the coffin. but heathertail? polite, friendly, clever heathertail? the leaders daughter, heathertail. if breezepelt became mates with her then maybe their clanmates views on them would shift. "y'know breezepelt's weird and rude but their mate, heathertail is nice and if they make her happy then who would we be to take that away."
the core difference between nightcrow and heatherbreeze is that breezepelt sees heathertail as a person (cat?) and values their relationship. crowfeather saw nightcloud as a tool to get his clanmates trust and admiration back.
breezepelt's complicated feelings would make them reluctant to date heathertail and then she would try to push heathertail away. of course their clanmates would notice and be all "wow, i cant believe that asshole, breezepelt broke heathertails heart.". its the true breezeplet nature to choose the hardest possible route every time.
I don't know if we can still request artwork, but could I request a Breezepelt? Since we're following the Power of Tree arc.

Ok so, the Princess of RiverClan is Silverstream; the Princess of WindClan is Heathertail; the Princess of ThunderClan was Squilf, obviously, but now she's the Queen, as she rightfully deserves, so the tittle has been passed down possiblyyyy to Shinepaw (jury still out on that one).
