So, I read an old post explaining how Patchace fell for Crowfood while she was rebuilding her. Thing is, that body's not Crowfood's. If Sierra had made it to the clans to see her uncle Everest, would Patchface had fallen in love with ~her~ instead?
its more that she falls in love with her because she built her... she would prolly think sierra was super cute but she latches so close to crowfood because of how they met and the nature of their relationship. smiles

Is gingerdrop's belief that her mate is dead and a ghost when he tries to interact with her something like Capgras syndrome? I think that's actually a pretty cool idea for a warrior cat, more warrior cats should be mentally ill.
exactly like that!!!! like capgras if it was mixed with a strong belief in starclan. unfortunately, meeting the "ghost" of her mate is more scary and disorienting than comforting for gingerdrop, complicating her relationship with starclan, herself, her daughter, etc.... it was exhausting to grapple with. shes since retired to the elders den, but is still loved and respected and taken care of by her clanmates :)

On the border of Sunclan territory lies the Monster Graveyard. The vehicles lie in various states of disrepair, the old twoleg who owned the lot used to come out to try and "fix them". Now it seems the amount of dead or dying Monsters just slowly grows. The old twoleg's mate left an herb garden, now also quite overgrown.
Sawyer is a courageous if obtuse large one eyed tom with huge paws. His passion in life is killing rats in his own self proclaimed Rat War. For HONOR AND GLORY. Type of guy to blindly charge into battle with 30 rats and somehow still come out alive.
He doesn't fight cats unless they take a swing at him first. At that point it's "Tell me how the Grass tastes, Little kit!"
Could genuinely be a menace in a clan's roster but he cares more about his Rat Vendetta than starclan and learning how to stalk "quietly"
I'd say he'd be open to cats of any allegiance accessing the herbs as long as they weren't trying to chase him off or take any of the GLORY from him in the Great Rat War.
When Newtflower was younger she ran off to escape the pressures of her mother and found the Monster Graveyard. She met Sawyer standing on top of a dead rat yowling victoriously.
Once Newtflower realized she was expecting, she told Sawyer she had to raise the kit/s in the safety of a clan.
He's not even that let down by Newtflower living in the clans but still caring about him. He's just excited by the fact of "I get to see you again?? STUPENDOUS!"
Sawyer to his son one day,
"Now m'boy, find something you really believe in and put your whole heart and 4 paws into it. I'll be proud of ye no matter what."
Hoppaw decides then and there Sunclan was gonna be his thing to believe in. Whispernose just thinks she finally made it through to the damn kid

we ended up going as Snagstripe and Berrybush 💥💥
I made the masks out of disposable dinner plates and markers, my gf taped her mask into her bag so she could carry her head around lol, she also wore a red tie for the blood coming from the wound. We tried to choose clothes that emulated their fur but also we didn’t really buy anything new for the party so 🤷 we made do haha

I had an amazing vision of whisper'nose being a soccer mom and I just HAD to draw it(though in this case its a mossball mom? I guess lol)
I made this SOSOSO late last night so the interaction between soot'kit and whisper'nose doesnt make much sense but just roll with it ok. Her need to impose her competitive streak on her children knows no bounds

he would tooootally feel like he’s losing his authority since all he’s really got is his position/bond with bravestar atm. cats USED to respect him, due to his defeat of snagstripe when he was an apprentice, (elaborated a little bit on in the big oc doc i made!! will make a post about it eventually…) but since bravestars made such a cult of personality, he’s kind of faded into the background. he’s pretty much just bravestar’s accessory, and now that he’s been effectively demoted he’s SEETHING ANGRY LOL. would definitely try to insert himself into relevance again to no avail
