Unlike Columbia, Arizona State University didn't screw around with pro Palestine student demonstrators - they were suspended during finals! FAFO! Now if Arizona would only take this approach with the border...
Blessed All Snakes Day friends!
Hate has no place here, whether itâs the 5th century, 1940s or 2025. âridding the landâ of people is hate no matter how you dress it
Let us not be so quick to drink from the cup of bitterness, hatred and violence. Instead, let those who thirst for justice drink from a stream of righteousness and mercy.

I really want to reach out to the original poster because while I want change and progression I also feel my safe space has been violated but I don't know them don't know how well and they no longer accept asks. So many of the blogs addressing this were preaching of the importance of tagging for miluca/maria fans but are now happily throwing this around without care for other fans wellbeing.
Tag your shit.
Egalitarianism: What It Is, and Why I Love It
Let me start by saying... I believe in true, complete equality. But what does that mean, exactly? A lot of people go on about how all they want is equality; doesnât that lump me in with all of those people?
Well... No. Because hereâs the difference. I believe that the âmen shouldnât hit womenâ thing is stupid. Now, now, before you go off the rails, and accuse me of advocating domestic abuse, hear me out for just a moment, please.
My ex and I co-parent our son. He believes that a boy should never ever ever hit a girl, for any reason. I feel differently. If a woman hits my son, I fully expect him to hit her back. Does that mean he should beat her to a bloody pulp? No, of course not. But we have men being abused by their wives and girlfriends, because weâve taught them to never ever ever hit a woman, no matter what sheâs doing, itâs just wrong.
But thatâs not equality. Equality means, I will hit a woman as quickly as I will a man. I will hit a black man as quickly as Iâll hit a white man. Iâll hit a gay man as quickly as I will a straight man. If you hit me, I donât care who you are: Iâm going to hit you back. Period, end of story.
Equality doesnât mean everybody gets special protections; it means weâre all fair game. No special rules, no special laws; murder is murder, rape is rape, and assault is assault. Your race, gender, and orientation donât mean shit about the punishment. If murder carries a lifetime sentence, then your race/gender/orientation shouldnât matter -nor should your victimâs race/gender/orientation. Equality means we all stand equal before the law.
Now, some of you might say, âWell, all this past injustice must be righted! It must be answered for!â Well, sorry to burst your bubble, pal, but thatâs not how injustice works.
A hundred years ago, women were considered incapable of rational thought by most. They werenât allowed to vote, or own property, etc., but guess what? Punishing males born twenty years ago isnât going to change what happened in the early 1900â˛s; all youâre doing is swinging the scales of injustice in a direction that personally pleases/benefits you. You canât ârightâ the wrongs of the past; you canât fight the battles of yesteryear. What happened, happened. Was it wrong? Of course. But punishing men today isnât going to change that; putting men in the position of hated class, unworthy of even the most basic human decency, isnât going to change what happened throughout history.
I donât believe that anyone is afforded âvictim statusâ, simply because of the color of their skin, the genitals in their pants, or what genitals they happen to be attracted to. If something horrible happens to you, I will advocate for you; Iâll come out swinging in your defense.
But I wonât sit here, and go âstraight white malesâ in the tone of voice that implies they should all be castrated. I wonât say, âall black males are criminalsâ, and try to get them sentenced harsher. I wonât say, âall women are hysterical basket casesâ, and try to take away their rights.
Because, as an egalitarian, I will treat you the way you treat me. If you treat me like Iâm scum, because Iâm white? Iâll treat you like scum. You treat me like Iâm less, because Iâm a woman? Iâll treat you like less. You treat me like poor white trash, because of where I grew up? Iâll treat you like trash.
Thatâs what egalitarianism is. Itâs about treating everyone as equal, with no regard to anything but their behavior. Being black or white, gay or straight, male or female, WHATEVER, doesnât give you the right to treat someone else like shit -even if it was âyourâ people being mistreated in the past.
The only way to move forward is to live in a truly blind society -where who you are doesnât matter; it has no input on how people treat you, or how they see you. This identity politics game has gotten so far out of hand, itâs officially beyond parody.
For example... Apple fired the female, black Diversity Chief, and replaced her with a white woman. Why? Because Denise Smith said:
âDiversity is the human experience. I get a little bit frustrated when diversity or the term diversity is tagged to the people of color, or the women, or the LGBT. There can be 12 white, blue-eyed, blond men in a room and theyâre going to be diverse too because theyâre going to bring a different life experience and life perspective to the conversation.â
For that unspeakable horror, she was fired, and replaced by a white woman, who immediately started about hiring only minorities and women, and restated her firm approval of diversity hires as âbelonging to women and minoritiesâ.
Newsflash: Thatâs not diversity. Thatâs racism and sexism in the opposite direction. And donât give me the âreverse racismâ isnât a thing; it most certainly is. If you hate me because Iâm female, that doesnât make it any different than me hating you because youâre a male. Hate is hate; who does what shouldnât matter; itâs the âwhatâ that matters.
Who you are, should never outweigh what you did, or what was done to you. Raping a little boy is no less horrific and tragic than raping a little girl; killing a man is no less horrible than killing a woman; abuse against a man is never justified, just as abuse against a woman is never justified. Killing someone because of their skin tone is wrong, regardless of what color that skin happened to be.
Weâve lost sight of this, though. And itâs scary as hell. And itâs why I refuse to jump on board with feminists, or âSJWsâ, or âactivistsâ or whatever other group you want to throw out there. Because theyâre all just trying to right the wrongs of the past, by creating future victims of people today with their hatred.
