Blessed All Snakes Day friends!
Hate has no place here, whether it’s the 5th century, 1940s or 2025. “ridding the land” of people is hate no matter how you dress it

I've been studying Irish mythology and I am obsessed with The Morrigan. An amazing goddess with so many interesting appearances in the myths. One aspect is her ability to shapeshift, which I wanted to capture in this photo composite. Now there are four animals specifically listed in the myths but I left out the eel because I wanted to stay with the triple goddess theme. That eel eyes are weird to mesh with a human face.
And as always full disclosure the human face was made by me through the AI Dreamstudio. I did this because finding a female face in stock photography who isn't smiling and is very young is impossible. I wanted a woman in her thirties with some lines on her face and a serious expression. I had an image in my head of exactly what she would look like. Honestly, it took me over half an hour to get the AI to do what I wanted. In addition, I heavily edited the face beyond what the AI spit out. So it was half an hour for one asset. Someday I need to video myself using AI just to make one asset for a project. LOL The animal photos are free to use stock and the forest photo is my own.
Let me know what you think of this photo composite in the comments. Have you ever read Irish myths? Are you familiar with The Morrigan?
I will be releasing a speed art video of me creating this piece. Once I edit and post it on my YT channel I'll put the link in the comments.
Morrigan necklace made of blackthorn. Inspiring strength, bravery and self discipline.
Like the previous I’m also not selling this these are personal necklaces for myself. I’m also not an expert in jewellery making. I do not have good enough mental health or funds to mass produce these…
It’s not much, but I like the little set up I made for this full moon

It’s okay to be Irish and pagan.
Because Saint Patrick missed quite a few “snakes”
#fucksaintpatrick there’s quiet a few awesome tales about the him and the things he encountered. But on this lovely thursday, do not spread that Maewyn Succat did a sermon so powerful it chased the snakes out of Ireland. “Snake” is the nasty Christian slang word for Pagans.
Have a lovely Thursday, and be safe if you are respecting our ancestors or enjoying a pint a Guinness. Have a lovely Saint Patrick’s day. Today is not just about green beer and shamrocks. It’s a day of mourning for most us, mourning our ancestors who were slaughtered due to their beliefs
