A handler bring their kid at work because they were no babysitter. But they have a something important to do so the only one available to keep an eyes on the kid is the most loyal whumpee.

●The child innocently asking if they are a friend of their parent

●pointing out LW's scars and asking how they got them

●LW wondering if they ever were that small and weak

●Being protective of the kid because they know how cruel those working here can be

●not having a single pop culture reference but enjoying just having a conversation

●Being gifted a drawing and trying to hide it from their handlers (and possibly being punished if they found out)

●Being recompense for taking good care of the kid (or the opposite)

●months later LW daring to ask handler how is their child doing

●or becoming the official babysitter

Hi love. No, it’s still a thing. I think it was a lot more obvious during the band days because they used people from Modest and we all knew Modest was “the bad guy.” In the solo years, Jeff was Harry’s handler and I don’t think everyone saw right away that while he worked for Harry, he was also part of the machine controlling Harry. Louis had a few different people who were always around. I forget their names now.

Now that they’ve moved on to more full-blown PR relationships instead of just beards, it’s morphed a bit. When the women are at their shows, there’s always a handler with them (generally someone from the management team), and you’ll notice that the lanyards the “girlfriends” have are different (and likely less full-access) than the teams have. But I haven’t noticed handlers being around them during the zombie walks.

There are two main caretakers who spend the most time with the boys:

Kaze, and Aijin.

Kaze is somewhat of a specialist when it comes to elemental abilities, so he was brought in to help the boys uncover their true potential.

Kaze isn't necessarily a good caretaker, often being the role of abuser, but he does care a lot for the boys, and deep down, he hates hurting them.

He is just a strong believer to the Order's cause.

And Aijin is one of the best scientists/doctors the Order has, so she was brought in to make sure the boys' health is all well and taken care of, (aka she's there to make sure the experiments don't kill them.)

Aijin is definitely the most "kind" to the boys, and is the best at emotionally manipulating them. She's the kind of person who would sing them a lullaby during a surgical procedure haha.

Another handler that the boys interact with is Jūryoku, who you could say is in charge of the project.

He is definitely hands down the most cruel to them, having no emotional attachment whatsoever, (unlike Kaze and Aijin.) He shows no mercy, and more than once has nearly killed the boys.

However, Jūryoku knows their limits to a T, so they're never in actual real danger of death. (doesn't make it any better though.)

He doesn't spend as much time with the boys as the other two.
