This is what it looks like for me

He have lost followers, but I don’t think we can assume it’s because of the stunt. All the boys gained LOTS of followers when Liam passed away and therefore all of them is also losing a lot of followers all the time, because many of those unfollows again. He still has more followers than he had before Liam passed away and that’s even after the bot/inactive clean up Instagram made earlier this year.

He had 17,6M in September 2024 and he has 18,5 now.

I have no idea, love. I don’t know what goal they’re trying to achieve with the relationship.

The sign discourse had mostly died down on Twitter and people were pretty decided on what they were going to believe. I had seen enough videos and I also had faith in Louis, that I was certain it was the damn lighter he was upset about. Then I saw in real time a group of “Larries” start posting about it again. It was really weird because they all shared the same video at once and started saying with absolutely certainty that he was upset about the sign. They were questioning it, they were speaking in absolutes. I was confused because the way they were acting was really strange. This was a group of people I had just started following, but it was so different from their prior posts. They kept acting like they didn’t want to believe it but ‘the evidence was so clear’. But here is the strangest part. They started asking for people to help them ‘not be weak Larries’. People started sharing the picture and video with the lighter literally right in front of the sign. This group of people were commenting and responding to each other and others posts about any and everything except that were completely ignoring anytime someone posted a pic or a video of the lighter. I saw them respond to every single comment on the thread except the lighter evidence. At first I thought I was reading to much into things, but it kept happening over and over. They were definitely purposefully trying to cause confusion in the fandom. Then once twitter was all in an uproar again they all magically started backtracking and saying they were Larries again. I understand people questioning things sometimes, because we see so much gaslighting in this fandom, but I saw this happen in real time. If they were actually just upset at the video that didn’t show the lighter then they would have responded to the people in the comments who kept sharing the video and the picture of the lighter instead of ignoring it until they had worked everyone up again. All I can tell you is I don’t really care about their motive. I don’t follow them anymore. It was super suspicious and I can’t get it out of my head. I hate how paranoid this fandom makes me feel, but I have eyes. I know what I saw. They were trying to stir up conflict.

I’m really tired of the sign discourse, but I think this is actually something secondary that’s important to discuss.

There are a lot of people in this fandom who are only here for attention. Some do it through bullying and gaslighting. There are also a LOTS of fake accounts all over every platform that are run by god knows who, but are intended to create discourse (both positive and negative).

It’s very easy to miss and very easy to get caught up in the manipulation. But I feel like a lot of the “booing at Mexican fans” discourse and the “sign vs lighter” discourse wasn’t actually organic.

I don’t have a solution, but even if what you saw was coming from actual fans, it’s possible their motives weren’t genuine.

Hi sugar. I did see it. I reblogged it earlier this morning, actually. Listen, I’ll reiterate what I said in my tags.

In 2014 Harry said “Happy Pride” at a 1D concert and, at the time, it was so extraordinary that fandom had a complete meltdown. It was talked about for days and days. Endless gifs were made. Fics were written.

2014 me (let alone 2014 Harry) could never have guessed that twelve years later he would be hosting his own pride party before a sold out solo show at Wembley.

So, yeah, it’s sad to think he couldn’t join in or that Paddy was there to cut down on visibility, but we really have no idea how H actually felt. He may have been super proud and been out there seeing everyone around him enjoy this safe space he had created.

Who knows where he’ll be next year, two years, twelve years from now. 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️

She has lost around 50k since December, but I’m curious to know how the exact numbers were in February/March 2025 before the stunt started.

Her Instagram said 2M om March 20th and it’s saying 2M today, but that could be all between 2.000.000 og 2.999.999… I doubt it was ever 2.999.999 though 😂

Maybe some (unfortunately) very loud Larries would do this, but as you said, Gina, Larries as a whole always have been the first to look into everything. And Larries don’t need something like this to feel “right” or better. This is something I love about this fandom. That there are so many people who debunk their own shit when necessary and keep it truthful.

I get what this person is saying. We absolutely should be allowed to question Louis’ actions and behaviors. For some reason people get set upon any time they question anything where he’s concerned. More so than even with Harry.

But in this situation, even though it really did look as though he was gesturing at the sign, it didn’t make sense. That’s why people were pushing back so insistently. So, while I don’t agree with people attacking them for questioning the situation, disagreeing with their take is totally understandable.

And I really don’t agree with their stance that we “know damn well” that we’d have agreed it was about the sign if it was about Zara.

Was reading some old receipts earlier and there was one about H flying in for less than 24 hours to be with L on tour even though he was on tour himself and needed to get back to a different continent. Being picked up and not even going to the show, just being at the hotel for L. So, it seems obvious that this is how they do things and it is more than likely that H was in New York for a day or two. And L almost certainly in London for a show as well. And, wow, isn’t it beautiful to use your money and ability to travel incognito to be with the person you love for whatever time you can. 🥹

Yep. I would absolutely do the same if I were in their shoes.
