The Soul Jam units were extracted from all hosts and repurposed as a centralized energy system to maintain containment.No individual possesses them now.The system operates through a feedback loop: the extracted Soul Jams emit a frequency that keeps experiments in a state of "suspended functionality."
This system is self-sustaining but requires the presence of a control entity.
That entity appears to be.
Research continues under new leadership. Elder Faerie Cookie was the final director of the facility. His name appears on all Phase 4 documents and beyond. His signature is on containment protocols, experiment notes, maintenance logs.His face is on every security monitor. His voice is on every speaker. His presence is felt in every wall of the facility.
The problem is that Elder Faerie Cookie was the first Phase 1 subject.His body was incinerated decades ago, at the time of his intake into the facility.
