Shhhh! They're sleeping!

They snuggle a lot instead of being in their own beds.

I mean, the beds aren't much different than the floor tbh.

It's also very comforting to know that you have somebody there in case you have a nightmare or something.

Which happens a lot to these bois.

J3 always sleeps in someone's lap, and it usually ends up being C1, since he's the biggest.

C1 usually ends up being in the middle actually.

Z2 usually looks more like he's meditating than sleeping (can't see it too well in this tho haha)

And K4 does his own thing. He's a pretty restless sleeper.

Oh, you know, just normal kid stuffs. . .

(ha, that one episode in season 2 where Zane's head became a lightbulb-)

J3 and Z2 were pretty excited when they found out about the lighting up thing. Definitely planning on utilizing this skill later on.

Hey, guys!

So I finally wrote out the first bit of my experiment au! Plus, I gave it a name!

Ninjago: Drops of Golden Blood (NDoGB for short) part one is scheduled to come out sometime in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out!

I don't have a specific date in mind, since my personal life is a little busy at the moment. I'm wanting to get it done hopefully in two to three weeks, but it could possibly get posted after that, (or before) depending on how much free time I have.

This has been a long time coming, and I can almost guarantee you that posting will be an irregular thing, lol. 😅

However, I'm really excited to finally get this story out, since you guys have been very supportive and eager!

I hope my Ninjago experiment AU can live up to all of your expectations!

What would he do upon finding the others? Adopt them? Leave them? Return them to their parents?

My Garmadon makes choices that are a little different than the classic dude. Since this au takes place years prior to the events of the show, the snake's venom hasn't completely taken over Garmadon's system yet. (I mean, he was still kinda good even then if you ask me but uh :/)

Garmadon would be surprised at finding the others, only barely grasping what exactly the Golden Order have been up to.

The boys would probably be a little wary at first, but hey, if L5 trusts the freaky red eyed dude with four arms, they should trust him too, right?

Garmadon may try to leave at first, to drop Lloyd off at a safe location before coming back for the other four.

However, considering that this is the alternate timeline where Lloyd is taken as well, L5-En would REFUSE to leave his brothers, kicking and screaming depending on how far Garmadon manages to go before unavoidably turning around. (For the record, he doesn't go far at all. Doesn't even leave the compound.)

And no matter how much Garmadon tries to convince himself that there's no hope for him, that he's rotten to the core and deserves damnation, he could never leave four innocent children at the mercy of monsters. He just couldn't.

So Garmadon would take the four with him.

Not knowing who the four belong to, Garmadon would go to Wu for help, against his better judgement. (oh boy the look on Wu's face when he opens the door to find his long lost brother with Lloyd and four young children hehe)

That one scene from Wu's teas where they drink a bunch of magic teas and get weird forms?

The same scene in the lab au but instead here they drink lab chemicals and get sick.

Caretaker: why is K4-F on the floor?

J3-L: he saw it on uhhh... internet?

Caretaker: ...you don't have access to internet.

Z2: What's an 'internet'?"

That one time K4 almost died by eating something he wasn't supposed to.

. . . Again.

The Golden Order found them :)

The Golden Order are basically a zealot group who profess to be chosen as the guardians of Ninjago by the 1st Spinjitzu Master himself.

They believe to be the only thing standing between Ninjago's prosperity, and it's destruction. As such, they will protect their world by any means necessary.

Even if it means torturing and experimenting on four innocent children in the process.

Fun Fact! The Golden Order also STRONGLY believe in the theory that the 1st Spinjitzu Master primarily used the elements earth, fire, ice, and lightning when creating Ninjago!

How do they get punished?

Do they ever get any rewards?

If Lloyd was also taken how would the boy's relationships with him be like and how would they think of him with him being more 'important' I'd imagine there might be some mixed feelings about him

The boys have never been allowed outside during their time with the Golden Order, so the outside world is pretty unknown to them, especially J3, since he was the youngest when taken.

Punishment can go anywhere from isolation, skipped meal time, punishing the others, emotional abuse, physical abuse, etc, etc.

Really just depends on which method will get the point across the best really.

Sometimes they get rewards, but only on special occasions (or when certain caretakers feel really guilty *cough cough*)

I think the boys would see him as the baby of group, kinda someone to protect (going off of an old head-cannon that the elemental masters of earth fire lightning and ice all have a subconscious pull to protect the green ninja) They might have some rough moments, being upset about how he would get "better treatment."
