Dracula AD 1972 was a fun movie. I was really struck by the difference in the writing quality from the other Hammer movies I've seen. The characters felt, and often looked, like real people you could meet today. I kept getting struck by how different things are from today - Peter Cushing's teeth, oddly enough, being a bit crooked, not movie star perfectly white and straight. The dialogue is natural. There's a lot more casual drug and alcohol usage compared to today's pulp, though maybe that's just because it was the 70s.
