Anyway, there was that one haunted house that was a lot more, uh, extreme than the others. If you’ve seen the documentary, you know the one.

Halloweenlock 2017

Halloweenlock is an annual fic writing challenge! This is our third year running. Last year we had a fabulous twenty-one stories. I’m eagerly looking forward to this year’s crop!

Anyone can join: just write a fic that fits the (extremely loosey goosey) theme, and post it to the collection! (Selecting the collection is an option when you fill out the form to post your fic. If you want to post to the collection and you run into trouble, let me know!) 

Themes:  Anything Halloween related--monster movie mashups, ghost stories, spooky fusions, or your take on the holiday. Also, anything related to autumn, Bonfire Night, or whatever rustles your leaves. Stories can build on any version of Sherlock Holmes. All ships are absolutely welcome.

NARRATOR: One Halloween night, so spooky and scary, Sherlock went hunting for a monster quite hairy.

SHERLOCK: We’re going hunting for the hound of Baskerville. We’re not afraid of the hound of Baskerville. We’re not afraid of anything! Looking high, looking low, Off on a hound hunt — here we go!

JOHN: Oh dear — what have we here? It’s an inn, a romantic inn, With only one room for us within. What shall we do?
