Post Reichenbach AU where while Sherlock was ‘dead’, John fell into a habit of taking stray cats home and naming them Sherlock. Now, Sherlock’s back in 221B.

And of course, they all answer to the name 'Sherlock’.

(Now every time John tries to yell at Sherlock all the cats look at him and are like wut am I in trouble johnny-mommy don’t hate mee and they all just MEW MEW MEW and then John can’t be mad at Sherlock anymore cuz he ends up with an arm full of cats.)
