Cappelia would realize she can't bear to take someone's soul, even if it would grant herself one, and sacrifices the power in her brooch to help Pretty Cure defeat the last of the Shadow Jacks monsters. This would seemingly kill her, but the residual magic + the magic Velvet also carried would revive her as a human. Tragically, Rags believes she's truly gone.

Cappelia as a human is taken in by Hikaru. The episode after her revival, she becomes Cure Delight. Two episodes later, the rest of the team finally meets Pinocchio.

One plot of the week would concern a carnival that sprang up overnight, which is magically luring in the children. It turns out to be Pinocchio's doing, and he's spent the entire episode forming an unlikely friendship with Risa. Pretty Cure is stunned to find his friendship with her is genuine and he isn't trying to harm her.

Moe would have met her deadbeat mother again as the woman came back trying to make amends/start a proper mother-daughter relationship. In the end, despite them getting along, Moe would tell her that the way she sees it, she really has no mother. Her grandfather and father were always there for her, and she can never see this woman as her mother. The two part ways forever, with complicated but no harsh feelings on either end.

Moe and Aika would become a couple.

During a later battle, Rags would finally learn the truth of where his best friend has gone. He peacefully turns back into a toy in Cappelia's arms, and Cappelia holds onto him. Velvet would reveal that he's happy again, the pain that led to him becoming a monster is gone.

Bogeybox is defeated….?

Two episodes later, Pinocchio would attack on Christmas Eve. After a long and bitter fight, it would be revealed that he'd been abandoned and tossed aside when he was a toy - a jester doll. The girls and Risa are able to get through to him, and he realizes that just because one person hurt him, doesn't mean everyone will. He and Risa share a hug, and he turns back into a jester doll. Risa keeps him, and after Velvet assures her he's happy and just wants to stay by her side, Risa promises he'll never be alone.

The Kingdom of Toys is seemingly saved… only for it to turn out Bogeybox is still alive, and has been pulling the strings the entire time. In a shocking move, the Poppets are destroyed, so Pretty Cure lose four of their friends and also can no longer transform. With the accumulated dark magic he's acquired, Bogeybox throws Pretty Cure into a new reality where they never met and never befriended each other. Velvet is ultimately the one to bring them all together again and remind them of their friendship, their love for everyone, etc. Pretty Cure shatter through Bogeybox's reality, transforming again with the strength of their own hearts.

The final battle would involve Pretty Cure, King Drosselmeyer, and the faith and love of every human and toy they helped all series. Pinocchio and Rags would briefly regain their living forms to help fight back. Bogeybox is offered a chance to redeem himself, but staunchly rejects it. Pretty Cure have no choice but to destroy him to save both worlds.
