Personnal storyboard based on one of the most heartbreaking scene of @eldenring @fromsoftware_jp , the last fight with Blaidd the half-wolf… It took me months to do it aside work, and I don't have the energy to polish it, but here it is at last…!

I think i cracked the secret to 'who gave birth to this character' inside Fromsoftware offices... We had in DS1, a selfless knight who sacrificed himself to save his pet, the cutest gigant fluffy wolf (who can manage a sword, and kick your ass, all to protect his former master grave...) Give a good shake, mix and there you have: - a halfwolf gigantic humanoid,

- loyal to his family (even too much),

- protective to his 'smaller' sister and supportive of her cause,

- strong as heck

Been looking back on my old story Halfwolf recently, a wolf story I wrote when I was like 16. It was ridiculously convoluted and poorly planned out and also longer than The Fellowship of the Ring. Somehow.

It focused on a wolfdog named Aphria and her trials and tribulations as she faced prejudice from her pack and is plagued by dream visions prompting her to go on a quest to embrace her destiny and defeat an evil wolf king.

Characters left are: Aedan (red), Bronagh (silver) and Morfran (dark gray). Characters right are: Cadeyrn (dark gray), Aphria (brown) and little Aedan (reddish brown, not to be confused with the other Aedan).

I'm currently posting what I've completed of this story to my Wattpad however it's very cringé and old and also all Dutch so. Do with that what you will.

Two more guys from my old wolf book! This time it's Maccon (left) and Riordan (right).

Maccon is Aphria's (the protagonist) only surviving sibling. The duo are close early on in the book and Maccon around this time is roughly her only friend in the pack, however the duo soon start to drift apart eventually leading to Maccon betraying her secretly training with a wolf from another pack, leading to Aphria's eventual banishment. He does seem to somewhat regret this decision, but despite his love for his sister his pack always comes first. Despite being a wolfdog like Aphria and Riordan, Maccon doesn't really look the part at all, instead him being the spitting image of his mother Bronagh and his grandmother Argel.

Riordan, meanwhile, is Aphria's and Maccon's father. He's an F1 gray wolf/German shepherd hybrid, however he still looks rather wolf-y in colors and markings and only his slightly odd proportions (thin face, tall ears) give away his wolfdog-ness. Riordan had a hard time growing up at the only wolfdog in the pack, but has since proven his worth to the rather judgmental wolves there and is a respected pack member. He loves his pups, but he's also a stern father and expects them to do just as well in pack life as he does. This works fine for Maccon, but for Aphria this proves very difficult. Riordan is definitely the more distant of the siblings' parents, and he also sees pack loyalty as very important, an attitude similar to Maccon.
