"Five and Invisigal are pretty blatant about their interest in me," Robert said in his usual dry tone.

"They don't exactly leave much room for interpretation."

He glanced toward Five, who merely flashed him a smug grin.

"They're also… rather hands-on."

Five laughed.

"Hey, if you don't test the merchandise, how are you supposed to know what you're buying?"

Four's face instantly turned scarlet.

"Five!"

"What?" Five shrugged innocently. "I'm just being honest."

Robert continued as if nothing unusual had been said.

"I can also tell that Four and Blonde Blazer have feelings for me."

Four nearly choked.

"I-I do not—!"

Blonde Blazer smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of her neck.

"…I'm not exactly subtle, am I?"

"Not really," Robert admitted.

Blonde Blazer laughed softly.

"I suppose that's fair."

Five wrapped an arm around Four's shoulders.

"See? Even Mister Oblivious figured it out."

"I'm not oblivious," Robert corrected.

"I just don't pretend people are harder to read than they are."

Four covered her burning face with both hands.

"…Please stop talking."

Invisigal leaned against the wall with folded arms.

"Told you," she muttered. "Guy notices everything. He just doesn't make a big deal out of it."

Five pointed at Robert with an exaggerated grin.

"So you've got the shameless flirt…"

She pointed at herself.

"…the emotionally constipated princess…"

She gestured toward the mortified Four.

"…the awkward superhero manager…"

She motioned to Blonde Blazer, who laughed in embarrassment.

"…and the ex-villain with a hero crush."

Invisigal rolled her eyes.

"You're enjoying this way too much."

"I really am."

Robert finished his snack, brushed the crumbs from his hands, and gave a small shrug.

"So yes."

"I can tell all four of you like me beyond a professional level."

Silence filled the room.

Five broke first.
