I bring comics to read when i'm out in public, and a guy came up to me while I was reading Monstress and started gushing to me about how much he loves the series and that he has whole series in his office. Mind you, this was guy was this middle-age white dude and not what i think of as the demographic of the cannibalism - lesbian sex - enslaved catboys comic. However! he is an icon to me and I think about him all the time.
