Hopefully this will usher in a golden age of novelty candidates and parties. In the past they have been a great way for musicians, comedians and artists to make their presence felt on the political stage. We could use a bit of that right now.

Yes its a Star Wars spoof. I feel we need to look forward and look wildly into the future. Allow our futures hope by allowing them to be as silly as possible, and damn is this movie silly. Done on a next to nothing budget and proud of it, we getna spoof very much in the college humour style of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes or Schlock. Stars a fresh faced unknown Chris Elliot and Paula Poundstone who both would later own the American stand up comic stage in thier primes. Basically the plot is about the large headed Lord Buckethead coming to earth with an army of jawas and on foot invades a small midwest town filled mainly of mechanics and donut shops. Poundstone is kidnapped and has a bra and panties scene, which feels very weird, while Elliot is a scientist that aids the military in saving the day, well, sort of. In the last decade politicans have often dressed as Lord Buckethead have run for office in the U.K. as the film seems to have a larger cult following there more often under its secondary title Hyperspace. So join us in a galaxy not to far awary from Utah. Come for the platter of spoof and cheese and be sold into it's cult status after you see Jawas add rockets to shopping cards and fly around a super market having a shoot out homaging Return of the Jedi. Where Hardware Wars and Spaceballs obnoxiously meet in the middle. This movie knows just how wonderfully dumb science fiction can really be.
