Count Binface got some interview time on BBC radio this morning (just before the pips). He's the only candidate currently running against Farage in the Clacton by-election. His campaign promises to build one affordable house and to make the bosses of water companies take a dip in the river.
Hopefully this will usher in a golden age of novelty candidates and parties. In the past they have been a great way for musicians, comedians and artists to make their presence felt on the political stage. We could use a bit of that right now.
