I think if Yondu got to spend just a little more time with Mantis, his hoarder instincts would kick in and he'd just adopt her as well, especially if he found out she was also Ego's kid

Imagine Mantis find out about asexuality. She didn’t know what that term meant until Peter brought it up to her. He casually discussed previous relationships he’s been in and the weird situations which resulted from them. Mantis didn’t understand the appeal of sex and felt uncomfortable about it. Peter stared at her for a moment before he asked if she’s asexual.

Mantis repeated the word in confusion before he carefully explained asexuality. She felt as if a lightbulb clicked in her head from his explanation. Peter smiled at her and pulled her into a side hug. The conversation quickly changed, and he didn’t push her for questions. Peter felt content knowing a bit more about his sister, even if Mantis didn’t understand her sexuality.

Swapped AU where Peter "steals" (rescues) a feral, child Yondu from the Kree and raises him amongst the Guardians

Yondu is between 9 and 10 but he's been with the Kree since he was a baby so he's already traumatized and constantly in survival mode, even after he's been picked up by Peter

Peter is constantly either stressed because Yondu is crawling through vents (which is dangerous) or stealing and hoarding small objects that get left unattended (inspired by the fact that Yondu canonically likes to collect small figurines and stick them on his control console)

I think in this au, Peter is the one who gives Yondu his arrow and teaches him how to use it
