Sweet and Savory Brown Sugar Ham Glaze
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Directions:
In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and salt.
Heat the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a simmer, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
Let the glaze simmer for 5-7 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the butter until fully melted.
Brush the glaze over your ham during the last 30 minutes of baking, reapplying every 10 minutes for a rich, caramelized finish.
