It's easy to make these Slow Cooker Glazed Chicken Thighs, and they taste great. Soy sauce, honey, and fragrant spices are mixed together to make a delicious glaze that goes perfectly on the tender chicken thighs. This dish will be loved by everyone in the family.
Ingredients: 6 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup honey. 1/4 cup ketchup. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ginger, minced. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 2 tablespoons cornstarch. 2 tablespoons water. Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish optional.
Instructions: When you're ready to cook, sprinkle chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Put ketchup, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil in a bowl. Spread the mix on top of the chicken thighs. Let the chicken cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until it is soft and fully cooked. Add water and cornstarch to a small bowl. Stir until the mixture is smooth. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir the mixture into the slow cooker to make the sauce thicker. When the chicken is done and the sauce has thickened, serve it hot. If you want, you can top it with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Have fun!
