For this week’s #GuestBlogWednesday Remade in Britain meets Mark Haig, a new remade retailer with a vivid imagination, eye for detail and love of recycling! After picking up bits and bobs from car boot sales, salvage yards and second hand shops, Mark Haig creates Gizmobots! These quirky little robots created from recycled and repurposed objects, each have their own identity and even come with feeding instructions...(Smurf Tickler likes to be fed on chips, pizza and meat. Under no circumstances should you give him salad as it’ll make his Snubbledoffer implode!) In this fascinating blog post, we learn how creator and inventor Mark began his upcycling story at a young age, when his Uncle was given a job as a bin man and Mark had access to an endless supply of salvage materials to play with!
