In our fifth Daily Pathways' podcast I discuss faults and obstacles.
"But what about my faults?"
We all have a family member or friend that ALWAYS has reasons that impede any progression towards going after a goal or completing any task. They are experts at identifying faults within themselves and obstacles the world puts in front of them. They may even "help" you on your journey by, free of charge, telling you why you can't achieve your goals. They say things like,"It would be great to do ____, but I (you) can't because ____."
Now, don't immediately shake your head and say,"Yeah, that sounds like (insert name)." News flash: We all at some point have been guilty of thinking in that destructive manner.
In "What Is Stopping You?" I encourage you to take command of your perceived shortcomings, faults, and obstacles. Run right over them and allow nothing to stop you from achieving your goals. Encourage others to go for their dreams. Everything can be overcome.
Do the assignment. Mark three random days on your calendar in the coming week. On those three days within the next seven, ask yourself the two questions: What did I do today to get closer to my goals? What did I do today to achieve my dreams? Afterwards, answer the questions. Recognize how empowering this exercise is.
Simply try.
