Initially scheduled for June, the "Mobile Police Patlabor Exhibition [Headgear Plus Exhibition] Memorial Booklet" has finally been solicited by Genco. Like the previously released memorial booklets for the 30th Anniversary Exhibitions from 2019 to 2022, this booklet features material compiled from the "Headgear Plus Exhibition Featuring Ezy" exhibitions held in Yurakucho Marui department store in Chiyoda in Tokyo in August 2025 and in Kintetsu Department Store Abeno Harukas Main Store in Osaka in March and April 2026.
The booklet will include material with added commentary from the "Early Days" OVA to "WXIII" and the "Reboot" short. It will also feature creative contributions from the five Headgear members, as well as commentary from anime critic Ryusuke Hikawa.
Like the previous memorial booklets, it will be 65 pages long and A4 in size. Due for release in early September, the booklet retails for ¥1,650. It looks like it will only be available from Kadokawa's online store, where reservations for the booklet close on 20 August 2026. I can see at least one glaring typo in English in the sample pages, so I hope they fix that before going to print.
