this is entirely random but pls bear with me i just need to rant about this silly thing ok!!! ok. cool so. I HAVE SMALL GRIEVANCES ABOUT THE LALALOOPSY REBOOT...  like specifically the minis. i donât really keep up with the big dolls or the animated series or anything, this is purely about the minis. totally ignore this if you have no idea what iâm talking about, itâs coo.
they rebooted the minis from their original packaging, which looked like this
tiny!! adorable!!! affordable!!!! cute accessories!!!!! cute themed sets!!! i guess apparently this wasnât lucrative enough anymore, so theyâve revamped the minis into two categories: minis styleânâswap- which is fine and cute and tempting! but the other category... blind bags. or rather, blind paint cans?
so in theory these are an equally adorable money sink (paint cans!!!) and iâm trash for blind bags (esp... if thereâs codes i can exploit.. ) but these arenât the problem..... They took dolls from aaallllll the previously released sets (including holiday exclusives?!) separated themed sets (probably to scatter throughout later blindbag series)... and they did away with ALL their cute accessories! Which is understandable for budgetting but they even axed important things like the fairy wings (link to a video example!!) but left the dang back hole in the mold!! OMG! What are you doing!!! HOW DARE YOU TAKE AWAY THE WINGIES!!!  áಠçಠ)á Â
if these were new characters from recycled molds like they do, Iâd be 1000% fine with the lack of accessories or anything really!! but like... Y-you!! You already released these characters with important accessories ages ago!! what makes ya think Iâm gonna spend money on GUESSING when I already have 75% of them AND when people can still find a lot of these characters online WITH ALL THEIR ACCESSORIES... i mean i get that this could appeal to new collectors who have nothinâ to lose and want less small pieces laying around, thatâs fine! but...I just.... how could you... the wingies... bark bark bark!!!Â
bring back the wingies/important accessories for pre-existing characters (like goggles/capes/wings/etc!!) or make new characters to throw into the mix that have them built in!!! AND DONâT SEPERATE THE CUTE SETS!! BOOFS ANGRILY
