Speaking of Crossovers with TGCF
TW: Potential Spoilers, a little swearing
Listen, I'm like 4-5 days of thoroughly being in this Fandom after floating around with Coley's and Danny Motta's reactions to keep me understanding (My saviours)... Especially with that one quote of Danny Motta when he was like 'I cannot take another season of you two verbally edging each other' was basically how I first heard of this show which was like in 2022-23 but I left it until a few days ago...
However, as a Certified EPIC the Musical fan and enjoyer of the Odyssey and Greek Mythology...
I can confidently say that OdyPen would LOVE Hualian, even more so, I know Odysseus and Hua Cheng would definitely team up and probably Beat the crap out of Hamilton for cheating on Eliza. No literally.
Like imagine the both of them having to wait a certain amount of years until you can finally be with your Lover only to find out about this Founding Father who couldn't even last A WEEK without cheating on Eliza.
It would be literally go like: (Also, keep in mind I only know a little about HC and how he became a Ghost King and everything, I know he used to be Wu ming or something and was in the same timeline when XL also had a mask... So please don't judge me if I'm getting the lore wrong)
Ody: Dang, you had to wait 800 years, become a Ghost King before you could get to be with the same God who saved you? That's Crazy
HC: Yeah, I know right? What about you?
Ody (Ranting): I had to wait 20 years to get back to my wife Penelope and I was given too much grief and despair and all I hear are screams!! I lost my best friend, my mentor, my mother, 600 hundred men lost under my command! I had to become the monster rawr rawr rawr and develop the same principle as the God who killed like 500 of my men because I blinded his one-eyed Son! I got betrayed by my brother-in-law who opened a wind bag while I was asleep and kill a magical cow! And when I got back to my Kingdom with help from my Great Grandfather who's also a God, there were 108 suitors plotting to kill my son, Telemachus, and hurt Penelope!
HC (Just listening): Wow, sounds like when I terrorised like 33 Heaven Official's because they mocked Gege... We surely have a alot in common
Meanwhile Hamilton just sits there while the other two share their stories, sweating, before he's like: Yeah, but at least we all cheated on our partners, right?
Which causes both Ody and HC to menacingly turn and is like: What?
Hamilton, sweating more profusely:... You guys didn't cheat on your wife?... Not even a little bit? Like... Not even a tiny bit? Right?
Ody (Enraged and about to literally kick Hamilton's arse): Dude... I got SEXUALLY ASSAULTED FOR 7 YEARS, COERCED, SUNG TO BY A SIREN VERSION AND I DIDN'T EVEN ONCE CONSIDER CHEATING ON PENELOPE!!!!
Ody (Distressed and mad): I went through so much and waited 20 fricking years!! How could you even-
Hamilton: Listen, She needed a place to stay and was lonely, it was also raining!
HC (Arms crossed, on Odysseus' side and is also mad at Hamilton for cheating): I remained single and a virgin for 800 years, I had to change my name and disguise at least 2 times before I could get Xie Lian's attention. I remained a devout believer to Gege since I was a child until I was old enough to be able to be his Husband. Also, I'm the only one out of us all who is unable to physically kiss my husband without censorship being up our backs and yet I still am unable to find myself far away from Xie Lian without my silver butterflies keeping an eye
Odysseus then points to HC is like: SEE? HE GETS IT!!!
Hamilton: Well there's more to me than cheating on my wife, I mean, I was in a war that changed the course of a country! I wrote the other 51 of papers about the constitution of my country! I'm literally the Ten Dollar Founding Father without a father who got a lot farther by being a lot smarter and being a self-starter, history had its eyes on me and I was going to throw away my shot!
HC swoops in and is like: Yeah, I'm also an orphan but at least I was still satisfied with waiting 800 years, changing my name from Hua Cheng to San Lang instead of cheating on my future husband with a woman
At this point, Hamilton probably gives up and knows he's going to get beaten up by the both of them with Odysseus being the one to punch him whilst HC holds him and they take turns
Meanwhile in like another room, both Penelope and XL are comforting Eliza while also sharing their stories and talking about how they're both Badass as characters, even if their exterior doesn't seem that way. Like, XL shares how he's a God who ascended to Heaven 3 times, slapped his cousin who is also a Calamity Supreme and was a contributor of the Kingdom of Xianle being basically destroyed and Penelope shares how she's a Princess from a Kingdom whose dedicated God is a war god and protector women, a sea Nymph (sort of) and set up a challenge to distract the 108 suitors long enough for her husband to get home and kill them all...all the while Eliza is still crying about Hamilton cheating and how she's just a part of the Schyuler Sisters.
I don't know, I thought this was a funny and cool crossover concept to me, especially since I know more about EPIC and the Odyssey than I do with TGCF... But I think I maybe butchered this somehow by making this like some sort of fanfiction.... I still like it though but let me know what you think πβ¨
