19 6 and 5 for Fatin and Dot!
Thank you friend <3
5-Do they exchange jokey birthday presents, or deeply thought-out and meaningful presents? Or both?
Fatin takes every opportunity to joke that she's going to buy Dot clothes that don't come from an army surplus store or the local Goodwill, but in reality, her gifts are always thoughtful - not material things, but experiences - she gets Dot a Spa day, or tickets to a show, or plans a surprise party with all the girls.
Meanwhile Dot absolutely buys Fatin a cello-shaped bong.
6-They go on a road trip together. Who drives, who picks the music, who’s in charge of snacks?
Fatin drives for the first twenty minutes and then Dot, who just saw her life flash before her eyes too many times to count, takes over. She has to negotiate, because honestly Fatin doesn't see any problem with her driving ("Do you understand the concept of speed limit?" Dot asks. Fatin shrugs. "Aren't the signs suggestions, really?") so in exchange for the wheel, she gives Fatin total control of the music. Her ears are bleeding, but at least they don't get a ticket, so Dot supposes it's worth it. Fatin generously offers to pay for the snacks, which is how Dot ends up trying the fanciest chips ever created - organic cheddar, fair trade locally grown potatoes, dusted with white truffle oil and sea salt crystals or something. She's not impressed. ("Keep that classy shit for Leah, and buy me Doritos next time.")
19-How huggy are they?
They're comfortable with physical affection, though I don't know if hugs are really their thing? It's more like. Pats on the arm. Bumping each other's shoulders affectionately. A gentle kick to get the other's attention. Fatin likes to give Dot exaggerated big wet cheek kisses, which Dot pretends she hates (she doesn't).
