Recently I’ve been getting back into photography; flash photography in particular. A few months ago, I remember looking at myself in the mirror whilst thinking ‘why am I so fat? why am I so ugly? why do I have so many spots?’. It’s only now that I realise that putting myself down will only make those questions have negative answers. Calling myself fat and spotty will only make me feel crap about myself. What I’m trying to do is take flash phtography pictures of myself to purposely show my flaws. because that’s what makes me who I am.
