: NEW TO BLOG : | Like Manny, Florence hasn't had a proper re-design or re-purpose for a long time now so finally getting on with them is a lot better now. Hoping to eventually get on with developing further with the Zarean species because their biology and world building is very much different to ours and I really need to work on that.

Happy I am finally getting on with doing full on re-designs for OCs that haven't been touched for a very long time now, so definitely from here on out, including some new-ish OCs who need re-dos, lots of OCs will be VERY old and will be done up properly.

Having used to work at the city bank before quitting for a smaller job, Florence did in fact had their fair share of arrogant customers, even being held up by robbers one time a year or so of working there; They do not regret quitting, working with flowers is so much better, the only thing they could ever be happy for their former job was meeting Manny and eventually falling in love with him

Doesn't have much of a luxurious palette like their partner, Manny, they always enjoy eating at small little cafés, going to little markets for clothing and so on; However because they know how much their partner really enjoys going outlandish with things, Florence will happily let Manny do what he wants for a night out

Enjoys spending time with Mia as they are very good friends, Mia definitely enjoys being one of Florence's loyal customers since the flowers they sell are not only greatly taken care of, but the breeding processes seems to make them more extravagant and extend their lifespans by another 3 years; Florence trusts her and even her partner, Clark, completely

Whereas Manny specifically works somewhere practically top secret and very much severely government owned, Florence definitely would be caught in the crossfire especially directed from those who want what they can get their hands on; Including rebels, those who rival their partner and so many other things, they definitely do want to find ways possible to keep safe

Communicates with their childhood friend, Pinkie, almost every day; Pinkie moved away from the city halfway into their teen hood so it's very rare when he comes over to see them, when Pinkie saw Manny for the first time he cackled to hell and back seeing as he thought that would be the last type of person Florence would ever have feelings for. Nonetheless, it's fun news when they call or text each other, they treat each other like siblings after all

Their parents lived in a small town, Florence moved to the city when they went to university and have lived on their own since then; Parents never disowned Florence or anything, though they have a better relationship with their mother while their father mostly asks if they have a husband yet, which the father's smile Florence pictured in their head when they finally confessed that they found someone they're now with.

Has been pursued by Manny's grandfather a few times when returning home from work late, they now at least carry a small dagger and pepper spray for safety; A few times receiving unwanted gifts by the creep. Rightfully so, they feel scared, even suspecting cameras are hidden around the vicinity of their daily walk paths

Enjoys cooking and loves cooking for Manny when he comes back from work; Florence even when just coming back from work themselves will always find time to cook up something fresh for their partner, they enjoy doing these things for their boyfriend so no doubt they will do it in every way possible for him. Although Manny would love for Flo to take it easy sometimes despite appreciating being spoiled

Florence always calls Manny by his name, Manny or Maniac is just a nickname by others who he works with; Manny tends to call them "Flo" or "Cutie-Pie", to which they blush every time

They both never met their parents, however Manny has in fact joined a call with Florence's parents; Seemingly the environment is mutual, a few laughs here and there, but Florence definitely saw how pale Manny's face got when their father mentioned about a family dinner one day

They have always been shy growing up, they did make friends in school but they were not people Florence themselves considered to be friends they'd keep contact with after school; However, since their school friends still live in the city, they will have chats or hang out if they ever cross paths with each other. It's obvious despite not being so close, they still enjoy the companies of each other, even if just for a brief moment

Florence doesn't show arousal like Manny does because of how nervous they are despite being with him for a long while, but they usually hint they want intimacy by wearing certain nightwear that is revealing to an extent, cooking certain meals that have stimulated their sexual behaviour or just clinging onto him when he's doing things. They communicate ach other what they want in different ways, it seems even Florence's eyes just tell Manny everything

When they visit Mia over her place, they have spoken to Chippy a few times, and despite not understanding much, they enjoy a lot of Chippy's ideas and inventions she has created; Florence has even asked if they could try creating or experimenting something with her some time to learn new skills

Florence has always been a timid person, yes of course they have gotten through various situations and jobs that supposedly help improve on that, but in the end they just are a nervous person all the time; They get scared and jumpy just a little more than others, they're not exactly that confident socialising unless known each other for a long time, and the only reason why they eventually got with Manny was because he approached them via not only work related conditions, but they both started getting a bit friendly with each other out of work some time after. After some time leaving the bank they did start feeling a bit more relaxed, not feeling like they have to hide themselves as much, especially having people like Mia, the partner of Manny's best colleagues, around who they can trust very much.

They're a friendly person, making people upset or uncomfortable is definitely something they do NOT do, it takes them a long time to trust people since in their prior job having some not so great people to give service to; Overall it takes Florence a while to get on or used to things before eventually adapting and adding it as a part of their daily routine, but guaranteed they are much happier than they were before meeting Manny, befriending Mia and Clark and it shows, putting trust and comfort into the moments they spend with those they love.

That's all for Florence, haven't done much for them before getting on with their re-work so most of their bio is mostly a re-do since they never had all that much going on for them before all this.

"Intersex" and "transgender" are terms for humans which transgress the gender binary. The gender binary is a social construct, but humans are gonochoric; sex differentiation is bimodal rather than binary, but it's not not a thing.

But sex differentiation and gonochorism are not things in many animals. Gonochorism is not a univerersal trait of the animal kingdom, let alone life as a whole.

At best, calling hermaphrodites like earthworms and clownfish "trans" or "intersex" implies that they are deviations from a sexually dimorphic norm. At worst, it actively supports the idea that all of nature is subject to the gender binary.
