the word "forced diversity" might as well be a racist dogwhistle at this point, because 99% of the people using it are doing so to be racist. like, i'm sorry that nonwhite people exist?? literally cry about it???
This is racism.
Minorities existing is not forced diversity. Minorities existing in media, in the work force (and especially higher ranking jobs), or just going about their every day business are not forced diversity.
We are just people who deserve exactly as much as white people. (And maybe some more to make up for historical injustice.)

Another interesting thing that has come to light today is that users have managed to get the AI itself to admit it is inserting additional terms the user does not ask for into the request so as to get specifically skewed 'woke' results:

idk how to phrase this without possibly sounding a bit chuddy so bear with me but i think the "problem" with "forced diversity" is more about forced uniqueness rather than diversity itself. now obviously "forced diversity" is never really used in actual serious discussions and is only ever used as a right wing talking point but i do think that like forced uniqueness is a feeling/vibe that i think ppl across the political spectrum can feel from a design of a character.
whether that be clothes or traits/features or whatever else design quirk i think most of us hate it cuz we get second hand embarassment cuz when u see how smth feels "forced" its like u can feel the insecurity of trying to make a design as unique as possible as a shorthand to get ppl to like it n think its cool
like the problem itself isnt the fact that a character has all these marginalized identity labels (it is if ur a chud but yk) but the fact that its usually kind of done with seemingly no rhyme or reason besides "i want my character to stand out" it just reeks of "original character do not steal" i guess. which i dont really think is THAT big of a deal and especially doesnt warrant targeted harassment of people.

I loved your "Forced Diversity" video. Like what would "unforced diversity" even look like to those parroting that cliche?
I best suspect it would be....older. essentially, before the time they noticed diversity.
