I was watching a video on tokenism and she mentioned pizza as an analogy and It made me realize, almost every pizza place I've checked out has one "diversity pizza" Don't worry vegans, vegetarians, people with a gluten or lactose problem and anyone with the top 5 most common food allergies. We remembered you. We made ONE pizza for all of you. It's a gluten free base with vegan cheese and every vegetable in the kitchen :3. No you can't get any of the pizzas with meat on a gluten free base. No you can't get dairy cheese on it. No we don't have a vegetarian pizza without olives. Don't be greedy, you're gonna have to come to a middle ground and share this one pizza. We don't scare away the normal people with too many weirdo options! This means the restaurant is totally diet friendly now. No, no-one involved in the creation of this pizza has actually tried it, why would they do that?

i appear to have been blocked by sunshine-tattoo, but before they blocked me they responded to a comment i left on the post of theirs you reblogged earlier. except i can't read the reply because they blocked me. i tried to see if it was visible if i wasn't logged in, but it's still not there. but all of other people's comments that i remember seeing earlier were, so presumably i'm the only one that got blocked. i'm very confused. i just commented something about how they said all the kids in a classroom they were speaking to were gentiles except for a boy who was hindu, and i was confused by that. i got 3 separate reply notifications from them, and i have no clue what any of them said. why block just me? idk why i'm sending this to you; i just need to share my confusion with someone else.
