Fallout OC-Tober

Well that certainly is one way to spell the month! You know what that means guys, a whole month dedicated to your OCs and exploring what makes them great. What better way to do that than to get inspired by some prompts. Everyone is invited to join, and every OC from every game from the series is welcome (Yes, even Tactics). Whether you write, draw, screenshot, or cosplay, we want to see you participate.

Each week you will have three specific prompts to fill out. Use any medium you wish to fill them, then tag your post with #FOOCtober2020 ! Also have fun with the bonus prompt on the 31st! It may not be original, but it certainly is a classic. 

Don’t like any of the specific prompts? That’s ok! We’ve provided you with an alternative, one word prompt for you to take inspiration from. If you want to do both prompts, please feel free to!

“It wasn’t perfect. God, far from it. I knew this. But the problems then... they were... almost background noise. The problems of things bigger than me. Nothing I could do anything about. You’d think that would make it hard - and sometimes it was. But it was what I grew up with. It was always like that. And despite it all, despite the struggles, it was my life. I figured things out, even if it took longer than other people. I had a home, I had a job. I was good at what I did, and... it felt stable. I don’t know if it actually was...”

She pauses, and looks at the house around her - where she’s built a new life quite literally in the ruins of her old, and she laughs, though there’s sadness in her eyes.

“Well. I guess it wasn’t. They really did blow it all away. I miss it, sometimes. I think I’ll always miss parts of it. But now - with it all so far away... I see those problems clearer than I used to.”

Survival Methods

Obviously with Butch being her childhood bully, they never got along as kids. However after losing her dad and being exiled from the vault, Butch went from being her tormentor to the only person she had left out in the wastes. Having to depend on each other they slowly became friends. And after having fought off the enclave and fixing the purifier, their relationship started becoming something more.
