Are we at the “split in the narrative” now? “If all you want is gray for me” (bearding/PR/showmanship/closeting) 🩶🏈 vs screaming color 🧡🤍🩷🌈? I say this bc of all the stuff related to TLOAS that has been happening lately (see this post ⬇️).

I think she’s going to ramp up the PR and bearding while simultaneously ramping up the queer signaling until it reaches a crescendo and the volcano erupts and the glass castle/ceiling shatters (x)(x)(x). This connects to this ♠️ riddle: “You and I became us and we. There we stood, no frets to be. My hand in yours, our hearts intwined. The sound it came, in slow pitched waves. Higher and higher, deep fears it raised. Reaching an amplitude, a crack it made. Hold me close, hold me tight. This glass castle will shatter tonight. - 12/04/2019.” I think this is the “chaos” she’s been hinting at (x)(x)(x)(x). “Be as clever as a god Translating seeds of hope There's purpose in confusion Slowly untangling the many ropes” (x) -> Many gaylors have been saying that the contradictions are the whole point and part of the performance art. I think the split in the narrative is referring to Taylor pushing these 2 contradicting narratives at the same time.
I think it’s super interesting that before TLOAS era when Taylor still had these posts pinned on her insta ⬇️, the yellow brick road led directly to the pinned post where she’s holding both the eras tour book with lesbian flag colors 🧡🤍🩷🌈 and TTPD vinyl with the gray album cover 🩶🏈 (x). This seems very intentional bc she had these posts like this for several months from Nov/Dec 2024 to May 2025 when she posted about owning her masters which ended this social media hiatus.
“Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye. And also…hello!” 👋🦋 // “🏴 Endings are beginnings, a shift of footing they say. A new era to flourish and thrive… - November 23, 2022” // “🏴 The New Year midnight is nearly upon us. As we March into the sunset, 2022 is not the only thing that will expire at midnight. A fresh page…a new chapter. Au revoir, à bientôt en tournée. - December 30, 2022”
Taylor references The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost in ‘tis the damn season and illicit affairs. I think her hypothetical coming out 🧡🤍🩷🌈 that the yellow brick road leads to is “the road not taken” bc she didn’t come out in 2019 like we theorize she wanted to. So the split in the narrative is like a literal fork in the road like in The Road Not Taken. This matches with Gracie’s Risk mv where there’s a visualization of this split in the narrative at the 2:55 timestamp. She has the choice of continuing to follow the man she’s stalking (I think he could represent heteronormativity/the patriarchy/bearding) OR going the opposite direction to Betty’s house where she (James/Peter) can apologize with a cake (I believe the Mess It Up mv is a direct continuation of the Risk mv).

In conclusion, I think the increasingly louder queer signaling that has been happening (“the whispers, the cracks in the veneer”) while Taylor and Travis have been ramping up the PR circus (“the glitter and smoke”) is the split in the narrative we were told to look out for which means TS12 likely is when we meet the real Taylor at Midnight and New Year’s Eve of this year is likely when the tortured poets will “crash the party like a record scratch” and come out and start a revolution en masse -> “For cracks, like secrets, have a way of widening in the shadows, unnoticed until the light shifts, revealing the chasm you never saw coming.” I could be wrong of course bc there have been many red herrings thrown in to make it hard to accurately predict what will happen, but with the way everything has been timed these past few years, this theory does make a lot of sense.
