#fic updates

Anyway, chapter 4 is being rude. It was basically all written, with little seeds planted for a scene later on in the story but NOOO~! The scene was partially delayed because I couldn't figure out how to do it justice, and suddenly the inspiration hits and now I have to put it in this chapter or else it won't work.

“You sure sleep a lot.”  Kyojuro’s foot slipped on the edge of the step, and he lunged for the railing with a yelp to catch himself and keep from toppling down the second half of the stairs. The last thing he needed was to break a bone from something as stupid as falling down the stairs. As soon as he caught himself, he whipped his head around to look over the side of the staircase to see Akaza lounging on his couch like he belonged there.  Kyojuro’s eyes went wide, and anxious dread took root low in his gut. How did Akaza even get in here? He locked the door, he knew he did.  “I guess your senses haven’t sharpened yet,” Akaza sighed as he leaned back against the couch’s armrest. “You should have noticed me.”
