Moblit has the most beautiful death in the whole series if you ask me. It was the first time I cried reading the manga, and it stills makes me cry evrytime I see it. I’m actually crying while writing this post tbh
Moblit is a very dear character to m, he kind of is my personnal cinnamon roll. I din’t cry because he was dead, more because the whole scene gave me such feels. Look at their faces... Hanji looking desperately at him... The determined look in his eyes... They’re one of my fave duos from the series. I love Moblit because of this sacrifice, he stayed true to his self-imposed task of protecting Hanji until the very end. I love how much he cares. I love him beause he’s the reason Hanji is alive. I love that Hanji can live and treasure Moblit’s memory.
It’s all of this that makes me cry every single time I look at their last glances to each other.
