I want to create a Au about Miphavali.

I think she definitely would've felt less pressure on that score, yeah. and this is maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don't think she was constantly taking care of Sidon? we know from his dialogue that he felt Link was "stealing her away" because Link would come by the Domain and they'd spend a lot of time together, so I can easily read that as Link "infringing" on the time young Sidon thought she should be spending with HIM, not Link. realistically, in a royal/noble family like that, there'd be someone else managing Sidon's care most of the time. Mipha would of course spend time with him, as they're siblings, and without a mother there I think she probably felt pressure to play *some* kind of role in guiding him and most likely spent more time with him than she would have otherwise, but I don't think it was a 24/7 thing. we just see things like that DLC moment of them at the waterfall because it's important to the story, we don't have a clear picture of their day to day life. I think it's also likely that some of the pressure came from Sidon himself, being clingy and always trying to get her to spend time with him. so, with their mother there, there'd be less of that! but the Calamity would still be a thing so she'd still be stressed. ;w;
