"Sorry," Nico said, holding up his press badge, even though, fuck this guy, he definitely knew who Nico was. "I'm just trying to talk to Lando."

"He already did his interviews," the bodyguard said. Nico tried to look around him and wave Lando down, but he was engaged with a gaggle of curly-haired boys who looked they'd been crying for an hour.

"Right," Nico said. He stepped in close to the bodyguard. "I'm trying to talk to him personally."

"Would you like me to pass along a message?"

Goddamn these overenthusiastic bulldogs. There hadn't been a need for any of this in Nico's day.

"Here," he said, handing the bodyguard his key card. "1024."

The bodyguard looked at the key card with open amusement, but made no move to take it. He pulled out his phone and tapped the screen. "He can do 10pm," he said.

"Sure-" Nico started to reply, but the bodyguard cut him off.

"Tomorrow," he said.

"Tomorrow?" Nico repeated. "My flight leaves tomorrow morning."

"Button moved his," the bodyguard said. "Do you want the time or not?"

Zutarians are pretty universally Katara stans

Aang stans tend to ship Zukaang almost as much as they ship Kataang

Oh yeah all the time. I have ships where I enjoy their dynamic in like one scene but the story isn't about them and would completely derail the plot if it actually happened. Tywin/Sansa and Tywin/Arya in particular from asoiaf are fun detours. Tywin's Harrenhall dynamic with Arya is unmatched, and I always thought marrying Sansa to Tyrion was a shortsighted political move. Marrying her to Jaime (after removing him from the kingsguard) or himself makes much more sense. I think he was too caught up on being mad at the Starks over Jaime to think clearly, plus dead wife angst. Tywin has his own code of honor and he's one of the men in the long line of men who was poised in a position to play hero to Sansa during her King's Landing era but didn't. So it just works for me.

P.S. Sansa/anyone but Sandor fics only work for me if Sandor is not present. If he's a character in the plot and he doesn't Sandor the right way, I'm like welp. Fantasy ruined, I'm sad now.
