Trope that needs to die: female animal characters having blue eyes and (sometimes) white fur/skin
I feel bad including Faline, Duchess and Nala here since I love those films and I do live their character designs but they still fit this trope so I had to include them.
This trope happening so much has really unfortunate implications since it’s basically associating light hair/skin and blue eyes with attractiveness….

Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest (2005) - Full book scans under the cut!
I was super excited to find this book included in a Bambi II DVD I thrifted today. I'm not sure if it originally came with it or not, but when I removed the slip cover, it fell right out. This book adapts Bambi II but was published under the working title of the film, "Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest". I guess they thought it was too wordy, so shortened it for the final release.
