Trope that needs to die: female animal characters having blue eyes and (sometimes) white fur/skin
I feel bad including Faline, Duchess and Nala here since I love those films and I do live their character designs but they still fit this trope so I had to include them.
This trope happening so much has really unfortunate implications since it’s basically associating light hair/skin and blue eyes with attractiveness….

Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest (2005) - Full book scans under the cut!
I was super excited to find this book included in a Bambi II DVD I thrifted today. I'm not sure if it originally came with it or not, but when I removed the slip cover, it fell right out. This book adapts Bambi II but was published under the working title of the film, "Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest". I guess they thought it was too wordy, so shortened it for the final release.

What if it's your bff that gets you twitterpated?
We have a pair of vintage Disney plush adoptions to celebrate today! Faline and Lady came to our plush rescue home together, so it's really nice to see them be able to travel together to a new home.
These are pretty old plushes! But they still have so much to offer. We've had a wonderful time getting to know them, and you just know we're going to miss them a lot.
