Fun Fact: this isn't exactly how Sun actually created Moon- as stated in one of the Q&A responses, Sun cried during the making and aftermath of creating Moon. this is how the people of Earth believe was how Sun was while making his creation.

i also think that Sun and Moon might have a slight, maybe 15% kind of Nüwa and Mk dynamic?? just in the sense that Sun made Moon to protect Earth "when" he dies, hoping Moon could be a new light for the planet, not exactly thinking of the consequences of what could actually happen. Moon would know it after spending time with Brother Earth and Brother Sea, and realizes that there could be great damage caused that Sun didn't count on this, which made him upset and all the more determined to save Sun from completely dying.
